Chapter 6:Ibearia's New King

       Prince Edward could see the sword,he looked around. The sight was beautiful . Emerald green stones covered the cave walls. Prince Edward started walking towards the sword. The sword was pierced into a huge rock,with some inscription on the rock written in some unknown script.
       Edward reached the sword with an intention to pull it out. As he placed his hand on the sword. The inscription started changing. Now he could read it. It was written as "This sword belongs to your ancestors. No one can gain it, without their desire. This sword of your ancestors has great powers in it. The person who holds it will be undefeatable. No power under the sun can stop the possessor of this sword."
       As Prince Edward placed his hand on the sword,lighting stroke him and he was thrown away. When he got up,he could sense the change within him. He pulled out the sward and raced back. He ran like a hurricane.
        When he reached the palace,the people started shouting "Hail Hail Prince Edward!!!!! Long live our new king!!!!!!" He went near his father and knelt before him.
         King Arthur said "Get up my son. You have proved yourself and he ordered his minister to prepare the kingdom for coronation of its new king .
       It was decided that the coronation will be held on the  seventh day from the  day of the tournament.
         The preparations were at its full strength and everyone was happy for the new king was exactly like his father ,just and wise. On the sixth day, everyone were busy at the preparation and Prince Edward along with his two other brothers, Prince Eric and Paul went towards the forest for a walk. They weren't accompanied by any guards.
           Suddenly an arrow came towards Prince Edward which pierced through his heart and he collapsed. Prince Eric hurried towards the source of the arrow,but the assaulter fled. Prince Paul pulled out the arrow, letting blood to splash out like fountain. He screamed like a wounded lion.
            When Eric came back,he was astonished. The wound had cured in few minutes. He stood up like nothing struck him. As they were going back to the palace ,Prince Edward was completely disturbed and was trying hard to figure out the assaulter would be. The king ordered the commander that the palace should be guarded properly and to appoint guards at every corner of palace. He appointed fifteen guards at the entrance of Prince Edward's room.
         At last, the day arrived for which everyone were anxiously waiting. People
from whole over the kingdom flow into the capital city to witness this great movement and to have a sight of their new King. Royal families from the neighboring kingdoms were also invited to witness the coronation of king Edward and to approve him as the new king  of Iberia.
           The gates of the courtyard greeted him. Thousand men blew trumpet at his arrival. He road a white majestic royal horse.
         His robe was made of royal red fabric with embroidery out of gold. Each and every thread of the robe meant something. One big golden star and eleven small stars indicated the twelve sons of king Arthur and a golden cross on the big star conveyed that even the King is below God's power.
        His cape was made out of golden thread  with a cross at the center and a crown on it which represented that the holy one rules the land through the king. He road the horse towards the entrance of the palace from the center of the crowd. Many young beauties were attracted by his charm. He get off the horse. His golden brown hair waved along with the wind.
          He was lead into the palace by the high priest. The high priest blessed him and gave him a chain which had a cross at its end.
          Then king Arthur ordered to bring the crown for the new king.The crown was made of pure gold with an emerald at its center . Which represented the Iberian kingdom soon after that,king Arthur got up from his throne and came down. And took of hold of king Edward's hand and lead him towards the throne and proclaimed " Behold your King ." Thus the coronation was over.
          King Edward declared that he cannot forgo his father. So as long as his father,king Arthur lives, he will continue as the high king and king Edward will be loyal to him as he was earlier.
