After 2 hours of having fingers in places they don't belong and a grown man staring at my unimpressive length, the physical was finished. Thanking the doctor, I lay back in bed. My mom came back, followed by my giggling best friends. I love those guys, but I really don't.
"We can go now Luke. I just filled out all the paperwork. We can go now," my mom says, really smiling for the first time in days.
The boys and I cheer. It's Fifa time! I jump up and quickly change into some real clothes. Once I'm packed, we run out, thanking the doctors and nurses before piling up in the back of our minivan.
As we near the house Michael automatically calls dibs on a controller challenging me to a match. Calum protests arguing he's the one who actually plays soccer, which Michael completely ignores. I'm about to say something when inspiration strikes.
"Guys! While I was in the coma I thought of a new song. It goes ba da ba da ba da ba da ba da ba da ba," I hum the intro softly, "It's about Aleshia! Like how I would fall apart if she ever walked out of my life. If she moved on, I know I wouldn't. I would never be okay again. If she threw away all of our plans and dreams, I just, I just, I don't know what I would do honestly.
The boys all stare at me shocked. "I know, I know, too sappy. We're punk rock, not classical emo," I sigh defeated.
"No, no! It's beautiful. Can you sing it for us so we can start with the chords?" Calum asks smiling softly.
"Umm... sure," I respond, "I drove by all the places you used to hang out going places, I thought about our last kiss and how our dinner tasted. Sometimes I start to wonder what if you left me? If what we have is real I know you won't leave me... Cause I can't be okay. No I really won't be okay..."
"Luke! That's really good!" Everyone says with a smile, "I'm sure Aleshia will love it!"
I smile, blushing slightly. "I really hope she does." A brief silence fills the van as I stare aimlessly out the window. Just as we're about to turn the corner I see a girl. My eyes linger on her long, golden-brown hair, she reminds me of the girl from the coma...
Suddenly I am consumed by memories. I held her. She was crying. Pictures. I have pictures. No she has them. Summer. We we're at the lake. I just want to be next to her. Why is she? No. No! Why is she leaving? "No!"
"Luke?" Ashton is shaking me slightly.
"Yeah I'm okay. Sorry."
"Alright," Michael says skeptically. Thankful no one asks anymore questions.
We finally pull into the driveway. Home sweet home at last. I race out of the car only to be met by Aleshia at the door. Luke? I missed you!" she exclaims happily.
"I missed you too!" I answer, blanketing her in a hug. I can't help but feel guilty.
"So I was thinking we could..." Aleshia drones on clearly oblvious that I'm in my own little world now. Who was that girl. I know I've seen her before. At one point, I loved her. I just can't remember her. "Right?" Aleshia asks looking at me expectantly.
"Yeah, whatever you want Ali," I smile placing a delicate kiss on her lips.
She cutely scrunches up her nose at my little nickname. Grabbing my hand, she leads me to the kitchen where a small feast is prepared. "Help me get this out to the boys?" puppy eyes and pouty lips. I'm wrapped around her finger.
Once I place the final dish on the table there's a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" I call. Opening the door, I reveal the very girl of my "dreams."
"Oops wrong house. Sorry," with those few words she ducks away from me and hurries away.
"Who was it Lukey?" my mom asks softly.
"I'm not sure," I answer honestly. Who is this girl and why does she keep showing up? An even better question would be, why do I find myself irresistibly drawn to her?
"Dinner time!" my girlfriend calls from the dining room. The 3 other boys thunder down the stairs automatically taking their seats. Aleshia gives me a soft smile from the other side of the table. Suddenly, I'm not so happy to get a smile from Aleshia. I don't know what changed, but the connection we had when I first arrived... it's gone. Everything, and I do mean everything, has to do with that girl. I need to find her.

And the plot thickens! I told you it would get better. Thank you to all of you lovely readers who have stuck with my story so far. I'll update whenever I can because honestly you guys deserve it!!
Anyway, just found out I've got tickets to a 5sos concert and I think I'm gonna cry bc I'm gonna see my babies! <3
Also let's take a moment bc the 1D boys are wounding me repeatedly. They can't keep releasing songs without giving me a heads up. Not appreciated. And on top of that they release during class so I have to pull a sneaky ninja headphone thing and listen and just no.
