chapter 15

Andrea's POV:

We drove back to the hotel and I ran up to my room to get ready. I changed in to an ocean blue dress with white wedges. I changed me make up to match my outfit. I texted Ratliff 'almost ready! xx' I put my phone down and checked myself in the mirror. Ellington texted me back 'Meet me in the lobby in five. xx.' I grabbed my purse and walked to the elevator. I went and sat in the lobby chairs to wait for Ell. I was on twitter waiting for him. I heard the elevator ding and Ratliff walked out.

"You look beautiful." He said.

"Thanks babe! Where are we going?"

"Not sure yet. I guess we can walk around town till we find something."

We walked down a couple blocks and found streets full of stores. We walked down them and there were street performers everywhere. They were very entertaining. We gave a couple of them some money. We found a nice reseraunt and went in. The hostess sat us at our table. We soon ordered our food and talked about everything. We talked for what seemed like forever. Then our waiter came up with our food.

"Steak filet with italian salad?" he asked.

"Right here." I said.

"Here you go sir." He said as he handed Ratliff his food.

We were eating when all of a sudden a fire started in the kitchen. The fire alarms went off and everyone ran out. We didn't feel like staying so we left. After walking away from the resteraunt we started to laugh our heads off.

"That really sucks." Ratliff said laughing.

"I miss my steak!" I said.

"Haha! Let's go find something else to do." He said.

We walked down to a park and there was a band playing. We walked over, found a spot in the grass, and sat down. Ratliff had his arm around me. We talked and listened to the band for about an hour. We saw some flashes and looked around. There was paparazzi everywhere taking pictures of us.

"Maybe we should head back." I said nervously.

"Yea. It's getting late anyways. on three we just run for it." He said.

"I have wedges on!"

"Take em off." He stated.

I took em off.

"Ready.....1.....2.....3...run!!"

We got up and sprinted. After about 4-5 blocks we lost them.

"You owe me...big time!" I said.

He laughed and we walked back to the hotel hand in hand. When we got back everyone was at the pool.

"Hey guys!" We said.

"Where is Kat?" I asked.

"When she got back she went upstairs and won't talk to us." Riker said.

I went upstairs to check on Kat.

"Hey..." She said.

"Hi...What's wrong?" I asked.

"There is only a couple weeks of summer left and I'm moving back to Montana after the summer."

"Oh..."

"Can you tell Riker to come up here?" She asked.

My best friend can't be leaving me it is too early. We may be a year apart, but we are like sisters. Riker went up to talk to Kat.I tryed to focus on what they were talking about, but i couldn't.

Riker's POV:

"Hey babe." I said walking over to Kat.

"Hi..." She said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I think we need to break up...I'm moving back to Montana in a couple of weeks... I think it is for the best because I don't want us to stay together and me fall for you right before i leave. It will make it harder on the both of us. We should stay friends." She said.

"Okay...I completely agree."

"I really wish that wasn't the case, but it is." She said sadly.

I stood up and gave her a hug. I walked down. I didn't agree with this at all actually. I felt like my heart broke in that moment. I really liker her, but everything happens for a reason.

Andrea's POV:

I pulled Rydel over to the side and told her what was going on. Riker came down and we went up. We grabbed ice cream and sat around watching movies with Kat. We talked until we fell asleep.
