Different Appearances

Chapter 2

So little did I know I was gonna end up with the Nathaniel guy, that Lily was talking about in half of my classes. She did get one thing right, he is a sight to see. He is also one statue compared to me as well, and wouldn't you know, he would end up in my science class, to be pared up with me for one of our upcoming projects. Just my luck. Wait till she hears this, she's gonna have a fit.

I glance at my watch and wouldn't you know, time for soccer practice. Which means time to let Lily hear the inside scoop haha. I can hear her now "You lucky ass." I can't wait to see what Mr. Pretty boy has up his soccer cleats. After I had slipped on my last bit of soccer gear, I went out to go run our 4 laps around the field, with the rest of the team. Just when I had started running came Lilly pacing with me. Here we go.

"Hey girl." Lily says running next to me.

"Heyyy." I say dragging my words.

"So what all happened!" Oh lord I say in my mind.

"Well let's just say mystery boy is in half of my classes. Plus we are partners in Physics."

"You lucky bitch" she exclaims.

"Ehhh I guess so... I mean you did get one thing right he's a cutey, but still I bet he's a hoe." Just as I got that out my mouth, pops none other than pretty boy, surrounded by ogleing girls looking like they wanna rip his shirt off... damn sluts.

"Omg Lilah there he is." Lily jumps

"Lily get over yourself, he enjoys the shit. Signs of a man whore." I state saying the truth.

"Oh but still he's so cute." She says with her blue puppy eyes.

Just as we got done with our 4th lap, comes coach Jeffers telling the girls/boys, to line up to call role. As he went down the role he came to my name "March."

"Here coach." I yelled. Next came Lily.

"Matthews." Coach exclaimed

"Here. Sir." Lily yelled

As he went down the row of girls. He then started with the boys,  calling role for the boys. Then coach came to Nathaniel's name.

"Oh here we have Mr. Jacobs. Everyone this is Mr. Jacobs he will be with us this season." Coach  explained.

Nathaniel then looked around and waved hey to everyone. Then coach went down the role, checking who's here, and not. God forbid those who aren't, coach is known for running you to death if you miss practice. I would know because I missed it one time, I am not planning to do that anytime soon. After role call coach made us do some foot work drills which lasted about and hour. I thought I did awesome with foot work today. Needless to say Jacob's does have some skills.. Like serious all from, the rainbow trick to the one that fools everyone, the scissors.

After footwork we scrimmaged against the boys for the rest of practice. I dominated Nathaniel doing the trick he did earlier, and more on him and the rest of the guys. I found it pretty funny, but he did get me a few times with his crossovers. After practice was finally over I went to get my stuff from the girls locker room. As I was getting the keys out my pocket, comes a tall figure. I glance beside oh my god there he is Jacobs.

"So March I see you have skills."

"Why thank you for noticing. I try." I say rolling my eyes, mimicking him.

"Well seems like we have a cocky one."

"Guess yah do. Ain't like your gonna do anything about it Jacobs." I dare him.

"We will see about that one March." He is so close to me I tremble under his gaze.

"Sure." I scramble from under his reach, and rush towards my car.

"I'll see you tomorrow March." He winks. Oh fuck of course. Looks like I am gonna have a happy year. Not.
