10 months later
"Mrs. Jackson." The lady called my name. I stood up straight go my dress and went up to her desk to collect my money. After I was fired from my teaching job, I went into day care with lots of children. I love children. I get payed more than the other teachers so I'm doing a good job so far.
These pass 10 months have been pretty decent. I haven't spoken to Aaron or should I say "whore boy" since the I got out of jail. We broke up. Well, that was not even a relationship to be honest with you. It was more like a teacher/ student with benefits situation if you get what I mean. I'm still in my same house, same car, same everything. Today is my Momma's birthday so we are all going to the graveyard.
Now that I think back on the days at I spent with Aaron. I know I fucked up bad. I can still smell him when I go to sleep and his things are still in my closet. Ima miss him but we just had to go our separate ways. I'm now really close to this girl named Aubrey. She's younger than me and has 1 child. We get along well. She's the only one I can really talk too when I have something on my mind.
I collect my money from the old wrinkly white woman and exit out of the place. I walk to the parking lot and unlock my doors. I open then them and slid in my car. Before I could even put the key in somebody tapped on my window. I looked out the window and rolled it down. There stood a man. He was medium brown skinned with a thin trim and a built body. Yes. I was looking at his body .
"You left your phone." He said handing it to me.
"Oh wow. Thanks." I said taking it from him. My fingers gently caressed his.
"I'm Jay." He stuck out his hand for me to shake. I shook it and smiled.
"Jewel."
"I know who you are. You teach my daughter Rain."
"Yeah.. I do. I didn't even notice you all look exactly alike." He smiled showing his teeth.
"Yep. Everyone says that." I looked at my watch. "Well I have to get going. I'll see you Monday."
"Right Monday" I got in my car but he grabbed my arm.
"I didn't even ask you for your number"
