"Come on....it's late..let's go to bed...." Lola said reaching for Bruno's hand as they walked up toward her apartment.
"But we need beer...." he said to her with a sigh.
"Why do we need beer?" she asked him.
"Because we do...." he said pulling her hand toward the end of the street and the small store he had spotted as they drove down the street.
"Brunnnnoooo." she groaned as he let go of her hand adjusting the baseball cap he was wearing. "Do you really think if you lower that they aren't going to recognize you?" she asked.
"Probably not, but it's worth a try." he said entering the store with her.
"Get your beer so we can go home...." she complained wandering down the aisles glancing at all the beer that she hadn't had to drink in so long. "Hey..." she started holding up a 6 pack of root beer flavored beer.
"Yeah baby?" he said quietly grabbing the beer he wanted.
"Look at this...it's root beer beer...." she said. "Let's get this...."
"Root beer is beer...." he said to her taking the package in his hands. "But okay. Let's try it." he shrugged.
"You're so enthusiastic..." she said to him laughing as they went up to the counter.
"But damn girl. That shit is expensive..I don't know if I can afford a $10 six pack...." he said looking at the bright cash register.
"I'm a gainfully employed writer..." she scoffed reaching for her card.
"But no....I can't do that...I'm trying to make you fall in love with me..." he said with a smile.
"Put it all on my black card. I'll have to find somewhere to have a concert or something to pay for my girlfriend's fancy beer taste...." he joked.
"Well. If they even knew the things I've bought you..." she responded reaching for the bag that the cashier put there things in. The older man who had foreign music playing in the background did not know who they were or possibly what they were even saying. He smiled halfheartedly and went back to the back of the store as they walked out.
"I told you it was him! I knew it!" they heard a 20 something year old girl yell as they walked toward Lola's apartment.
"What do we do?" Lola asked reaching for his hand.
"What do you want to do?" he asked.
"And Lola..the twitter girl...." another girl blurted out.
"Ahhh shit. Now that they know it's both of us....and I'm famous..." she said flipping her hair.
"Whatever. They aren't going to stop." the first girl said.
"Yeah. Whatever." the second girl muttered.
"Ladies?" Bruno turned around and smiled at them.
"Oh...ummm...oh....yeah...umm..." the first girl started to stutter.
"Can we get a picture?" the second girl asked.
"Of course." Bruno smiled watching one of the girls hand Lola their phone.
Lola sweetly counted to three and told the group of three to smile watching Bruno wrap his arms lightly around the unknown women. "Thank you so much, girls." he said walking back toward Lola. "But first can you take a picture of my girlfriend and I?"
"Sure!" the first girl said taking his phone.
"Why did you do that?" Lola whispered to him. "She could just take your...."
