A/N: Another story me and Hadley (fangirling-hq/i-wont-worry on Tumblr) are working on together.

Josh peeked through the thick curtains of his house, looking at the setting Massachusetts sun. He glanced down at his wrist, checking the time on his watch. He never meant to be this way, his life revolving around such a sick thing, yet somehow it happened. When he set eyes on the new family that had moved in across town, he knew there was something strange about the way he felt. He noticed the boy, and even though he knew it was wrong because of his age, he wanted him to be his.

His life soon began to revolve around a 13 year old boy. Not only was it wrong in the eyes of society, it was illegal. He was 23, he shouldn’t be obsessing over a 13 year old. Yet, scattered all over his “office,” which had been turned into somewhat of a shrine for the boy, were bits and pieces of his life. Photographs of him, his family, family friends. The boy’s interests, favourite things, and other bits of information were also scattered amongst the mess. Anything and everything Josh could possibly find out about the boy had a place somewhere in the room. In a matter of 8 months, his life went from revolving around his boyfriend to revolving around a 13 year old boy.

Josh wandered into his office, grinning as he sat down and looked around the room. He had a little while left to go; today was Oliver’s birthday. He had a plan. Soon, Oli would be leaving school, from the after school drama club, and would have to walk an hour and a half home, because both his parents were working the night shift.

Oli left the school, a shiver running down his spine from the bitter coldness nipping at him. He pulled his jacket closer to him, his arms wrapping around his slim body. He could almost feel his ribs through the jacket, and he grinned at that, feeling a bit better about himself. Maybe soon, the kids at school would stop bullying him about being fat. Of course, that wouldn’t affect the other insults they threw at him, but at least he had managed to lose weight.

Josh made himself believe that he was doing Oli a favour. Oli was bullied, constantly, and he never had a great family life either. Oli didn’t deserve it, and Josh managed to make himself believe he could make it better. Josh thought Oli was the most attractive kid he had ever set eyes on.

As his headlights outlined the figure of a slim body, which was way too familiar to Josh, he put a smile on his face, rolling down the passenger side window. “Hey kid!” Josh called out, Oli’s attention being drawn to the voice. “Need a ride?” He hoped Oli would agree, a ride “home” beating walking the hour and a half route home that Josh knew off by heart, at least in his mind. Oli shook his head, turning away before Josh spoke again. “You’re gonna catch a cold kid, you sure?” Josh had to put in an effort to not call Oli by name, instead referring to him as ‘kid’. Just then, a cold breeze came, causing Oli to shiver some more and rethink his decision.

He ended up giving in, nodding, and reaching for the passenger side handle. He hopped in the vehicle, spinning his bag around to hold it on his lap. I’m Josh,” Josh offered, extending his arm to shake hands with the boy.

“Oliver.” Oli replied, taking Josh’s hand and giving it a firm shake.

“Oli...” Josh whispered to himself, a slight smile on his face. “Where’re we going?” He asks, despite the mental map he has imprinted in his mind.

“Uhm...” Oli thought for a moment, trying to remember the road names. He’d never been good at remembering things like that, instead the route itself being ingrained in his head. “I’ll just tell you where to turn?” He suggested, relaxing into the seat.

“Okay...” The two sit in silence for a few moments, before Josh got tired of the silence, wishing to hear Oli’s voice again. “So, what are you doing walking home this late in the cold?” He questions, fake curiosity filling his voice.

“Both my parents are working the night shift and I had to stay after school.” Oli explains, and Josh nods, a slight smile on his face as he pictures Oli prancing around and acting in drama club. Oli rubs at his temples, a slightly pained expression on his face, which draws Josh’s attention.

“What’s wrong?” Josh asks, faking worry. In his head, he’s happy, because getting this kid was going to be easier than he thought. Oli shrugs, rubbing his hands over his face. “Need some Tylenol?” In a lack of judgement, Oli agreed, and Josh directed him to the glove box, where he found what looked to be a normal bottle of Tylenol. He took two out before closing the bottle, putting it back in the glove box. “Dry swallow okay?” Josh asked and Oli nodded, swallowing the pills. Josh grinned, satisfied. Getting the kid would be the hardest part, and the kid had just swallowed two doses of Ketamine. He was in the bag now.

Oli began to feel the effects of the drug within minutes. At first, he felt incredibly stupid for accepting a ride, and drugs, from a stranger. He should have known something was up. His body was becoming numb, no longer able to feel his feet or hands, and the loss of feeling crept up his body. He tried to move his fingers, but wasn’t sure if he did. The space around him began feeling strange, his vision beginning to blur. He squinted to try and see better, but all he saw were streaks of light, and the dark outline of a figure in the seat beside him. He was in a car, he knew that much, but he had no clue where he was going. He started to feel drowsy, and he let himself drift off to sleep, his dreams spinning around one another and making no sense at all.
