A young girl looked up at the sky as lightning flashed above. There was something about the lightning, it was blue. The call was being sent out. She had only recently found out that she was one of the faces, she had a life in many other places. She was her own person though. Now the call for all the faces to gather was being sent out.
" Fang! Get out of the rain. You know your legs will rust!" Came a yell from a wooden cabin close to her. Fang twitched her wolf ears in annoyance, she loved to be in the rain, metal legs just didn't cope well with water. Fang looked over to the cabin.
" I've got my jacket on!" Fang yelled back. She felt the leather jacket fondly.
" Wait there, I'll come and get you," answered the first speaker.
A dark shadow appeared through the blinding rain and before Fang could protest it had picked her up.
" Hey! Put me down," Fang laughed.
" Stop struggling! I'm trying to see my cabin through the rain," answered the voice.
" Please put me down, I like the rain," Fang pleaded in a whining voice.
" Your legs don't," the voice answered.
" Come on Lieutenant, don't spoil my fun," Fang rebuked.
Finally the cabin came in to view and the Lieutenant put Fang down. She stood up and he draped a blanket around her shoulders. The Lieutenant was a tall teenage boy with dark hair and black clothes. The ears and tail of a black panther were just visible in the dark of the cabin's porch. Fang gave him a hug.
" You must be the best boyfriend ever, always spoiling my fun for my sake," Fang declared.
" Standing in the rain isn't fun, it's cold and wet," the Lieutenant said.
" No way, don't tell me you hate the rain," Fang answered.
" I hate the rain, what do you expect, I'm half cat," Lieutenant answered.
" I'm half dog and one quarter metal and one quarter human, how do you think I feel?" Fang exclaimed with a raised eyebrow.
" Okay, you won the fight. Just don't expect me to go out there with you," Lieutenant answered with a shiver.
" Why would I go out there when you are right here?" Fang asked as she kissed him.
A huge crack of lightning and thunder clawed the sky. The lightning struck the ground with a sizzle. Fang noticed with dread that it was blue again. The call was being transmitted stronger. The Lieutenant broke away and jogged towards the spot where it had hit. Fang sprinted after him.
" Wait!" Fang yelped. They squinted as they saw a smoky crater in the ground, something else was in it. A letter.
" Dear second face,
The transformation has happened, the faces have united. Supernova has been issued. You were included in supernova, as were the other faces. The other faces are reading this as well. All the faces and their friends must be united in person as well as power. We must meet in the centre of all the worlds, you know where that is. There was a problem we need to discuss urgently, if it is not rectified the world will be demolished, that includes all the worlds. We need you, sincerely, supernova," Fang read. She dropped the paper and turned to face the Lieutenant.
" Something's wrong. I need your help," Fang said hurriedly.
" Anything," The Lieutenant said in reply.
" The call has been issued," Fang answered.A pair of sky blue eyes peered through a group of grass stalks. A herd of caribou were grazing in the field. Other pairs of eyes appeared in the grass so that they formed a semicircle. There was a pair of red eyes, green eyes, silver eyes, brown eyes, purple eyes, dark blue eyes and a pair of orange eyes. The first pair of blue eyes blinked at the green and silver pair. Two wolves emerged from the foliage, they were both black but one had green paws, green chest fur, green underbelly and a green tail tip. She had an image of a grape vine twirling up a rock. The other wolf was also female, she had the same looks as the other female but she had silver fur instead of green. She had the symbol of a silver leaf on her shoulders. They were both the size of horses. The huge wolves looked back at the blue pair of eyes. The blue eyes blinked rapidly and the two wolves ran at the herd. The herd ran in panic, their eyes wide with fear. The blue pair of eyes stared at the pairs of purple and dark blue eyes. Two more wolves, both females, emerged. One was white with blue and purple markings like the first two. She had stars emblazoned on her shoulders. Her companion was black with dark blue markings. Her symbol was a snowflake. Both she wolves sprinted along at the sides of the herd, directing them back towards the other eyes. A shadow fell over the herd. A wolf with red markings and a rising sun on his shoulders was using his red wings to fly over the herd. When the herd came close two more wolves exploded out of the grass. One was a young male wolf with brown markings and a boulder shown on his shoulders. He wore a red bandanna around his neck. The other was a male with orange markings, he had fire emblazoned on his shoulders. These two leaped at a male buck but he kicked them roughly. The buck would run free, then something else leaped from the bushes. This was the biggest wolf of the lot, a hugely tall and muscly she wolf. She was the blue eyes from before, the leader. She had aqua coloured markings and a crashing wave emblazoned on her shoulders. She hit the buck and bit his neck cleanly. The buck thrashed but then became limp.
" Nice work everyone," she said a deep but pretty voice.
" I wanted to deliver the killing bite, Why does Rising Storm always get the kill?" The red and black wolf groaned as he landed.
" Because she's always in position, unlike some people, Dawn Break!" Answered the white and purple she wolf.
" No arguing, you two better knock it off or I will," Rising Storm said sternly.
" Trust me, she will," answered the brown male.
" Dust Fire, you're not supposed to agree when I'm threatening," Rising Storm said affectionately.
" Oh stop it, let's just eat something," Dawn Break sighed.
" Water Fall, Season, Galaxy, Dark Flower and Metal Strike, you go first. We will follow," Rising Storm directed.
They began to eat the buck hungrily. As they ate, they chatted and talked. They were having a great time until she showed up. A girl, human in looks but she was half wolf. The girl smiled at Rising Storm.
" My old friend, long time no see," Rising Storm growled in annoyance.
" I got the call. I'm here to give you the memo, we're being called in," the girl said.
" Why do all the faces appear so young and innocent? It makes them harder to chase off," Rising Storm growled.
She looked around at her friends who were getting ready to fight at her side.
" You won't fight me, we are technically the same person," the girl argued.
" We're also a different species. We don't run by the different rules, our different worlds do not work together," Rising Storm snarled.
" Don't pull the species argument on me. You know very well that I am half of your kind. Just because humans are afraid of wolves the six of horses with elemental powers doesn't make us bad people," the girl retorted.
" When you slaughter our kind it makes you bad people," Rising Storm argued.
" I admit that our kind didn't make the right choice when we did that. My half fauna kind had no say in that decision. Humans don't even know we exist and I plan it to stay that way. We still need to come in, for the sake of the world," the girl said.
" Why do my kind have to get tangled in to this, we have nothing to do with your world, we have no need to save it," Rising Storm growled.
" Come on old friend, you and I are part supernova, you were there. The thing is, you have changed since then," the girl answered.
" We have all changed, I changed in looks and powers but my heart is the same. I am my own wolf, not part of someone," Rising Storm said.
" I have not changed. The way you saw me then is the way you see me now. I am the weak face, the second. I have not yet changed as others have," the girl answered dejectedly.
" Fang, you should be happy to still be your own person. I look like supernova and can't change that anymore. Supernova is who I am," Rising Storm stated.
" Then why not fight with us?" Fang asked in exasperation.
" Because the human world isn't my world, why should I defend those who kill my kind?" Rising Storm answered strongly.
" You must fight for us because if they win your world will be next. No world will be spared," Fang promised grimly.
" My friends and I will die for our world if need be but I don't know why you are calling us now," Rising Storm declared.
" There was a problem when supernova was initiated. The fourth face transformed first as we both know but there were only four of us present to join for supernova," Fang answered.
" What's the problem?" Rising Storm asked in confusion.
" I don't know but the fourth face does know. The first supernova is calling us together, bring your friends as I have done. We will meet in the place, you know it. I will meet you there if you choose to come," Fang answered.
The little girl disappeared and the wolf pack nodded to each other. They would answer the call.
