Love You, Goodbye // Larry AU

Prologue

"You know I love you Lou," Harry whispers as his lips gently press against Louis ear. Louis takes a deep, long breath before nodding. "I know," he replies quietly making Harry jump away from him.

"Then why does it have to be like this then? Huh?" He says raising his voice. "Why do you get to always walk away and smile when I'm left here a mess? Why am I always the one who gets hurt? Why me?" He says with his voice cracking.

Louis wants to break down right then and there taking the younger boy into his arms and tell him everything is going to be alright but he knows he can't, because it won't be alright.

"It's the way it has to be," Louis says calmly even though every part of him wanted to scream I know. Harry shakes his head laughing at bit before looking at Louis and shaking his head. "I'm not doing this anymore, I can't do this anymore."

"I don't expect you to Haz," Louis replies reaching for him but he leans away from him making Louis feel a pang to his chest. "I just need more time..." he says slowly.

"Well I'm tired of giving you all my time when all I get is a simple goodbye," Harry says leaning on the table crossing his arms above his chest. "We're like a tape on replay and I'm ready to just throw it away Lou. That's how bad this makes me feel."

"You'd throw us all away?" Louis says with his voice cracking afraid of what Harry's next answer would be. "Well you did it two years ago so why not?" Harry spits making the older boy have to catch his balance. "I think it's time I take control," he adds walking towards the door. "It might be best you leave."

All Louis can do is stand still before Harry opens the door motioning with his head for the older lad to move. Louis slowly walks towards the door and right before he exits he turns to his love hoping he'll change his mind.

"I love you," He says so calmly hoping for the same reaction from the boy who's been a part of his life for nearly 6 years. Harry takes a deep breath and leans closer to Louis with his hand on the door before reply, "Love you, Goodbye."

Hey guys! If you're reading this just want to say a massive thanks! This is obviously going to be a Larry fan fiction. It is going to be an Alternate Universe (where One Direction does not exist and they're just normal lads but you'll learn more soon).
