I was probably 4 or 5. We were in a new house. My mom, dad, and I. I had a very active imagination, but this was not my minds creation. Just listen. And if you get paranoid, don't read on.
I had just woken up to the smell of bacon. Our house was really small, so the kitchen was right near my room. I hobbled out of my bed, and out of my doorway, only to find myself tripping at my doorway. I got up, like I always did when i fell, and walked on to the hallway. As i went to the small doorway that connects the hallway to the kitchen, i, again, fell.
My mom had been cooking, but immediately stopped to help me up. She asked if i was ok, I nodded, and then she picked me up and placed me on a stool, with bacon on a plate in front of me. I ate, and then went to turn around. as my chair started to spin, i felt like i had hands on my ankles. I slid down, knocking my chin in the granite counter top. "Billy" my mom nearly screeched as blood oozed from my mouth. Everything else was a blur.
I remember my mom setting me on the counter, throwing a towel over my chin, and throwing me in the car. My dad got in soon after. He jumped in the drivers seat, my mom in the passenger. I do remember, however, a shadow of a face in my window, just out of view, as we drove off.
As we drove, i heard my mom saying "bone" and that she could see it. That really set me off, so i screamed. I got stitches, and got in the car 8 hours after the affair. We got to driving, and again, i saw the shaddow face. It smiled deviously from the car window. i covered my face with my hands, and we got home.
I ran into my room. My parents tucked me in, and i fell asleep, the face stuck in my head. I woke up to a scratching at my window. I glanced over to the fog filled thing, and saw that something seemed to be writing on it, but i saw no finger. i watched the letter slowley form.
Y L L I B
I knew they were backwords. My name slowley faded.
Y H W T ' N O W UOY
The words faded again
E B Y M D N E I R F ?
I was now scared out of my whits, but i was even more scared when the letters faded, because then, the ghostly face was all i could see. I screamed and bolted to my parents room. i fell more than a few times on my short trip, but i made it.
My parents didn't believe me, of cource, but i've learned to live with him. I can even call him my friend. Billy's Friend.
