An island of wonder

I awoke to birds chirping and the sun just rising. My father had just left for work and I was home alone. I grabbed my phone. Over night this guy had text me saying he wanted to meet after school. It was weirded,but not uncommon. I'm used to getting text like this all the time. It was my day off of school so I brushed off the fact that something weired was going on. I let the text slip my mind. I went outside to greet my friends. We quickly left to the restaurant. No one noticed the tall black figure that lingered behind us. Our day went past. Sadly all of it was a blur to me because the only thing that stock out was the letter... The letter. Who knew a simple sheet of paper could change a person life? Well before I get into my story I should probably tell you a little bit about me. My name is Maya. I live on an island full of creatures and life. All are beautiful well almost all. I live with my father and mother in a tiny hut out in the middle of this paradise. Tourist come here all year round do to the perfect weather. I have long blond hair pulled up into a ponytail. I have eyes the color of the sea surrounding the island. I wear a short white dress,but not to short. I have a bright blue butterfly in my hair. The color of my eyes of course. This is normal a tire for us. Most people on this island call me Purity. Thats kinda my nickname now because everyone calls me that. I have never gotten a boyfriend, but I'm hoping that will change. The only sad part is my life is any where from purity. Sometimes now and then I wish I didn't find that simple sheet of paper that changed my life.
