Collin Funk is the new kid starting a new school year at Summer Brook High. He's a genuine, attractive boy that sees nothing but the best in people. He loves making new friends, and doesn't like to feel like the odd one out. He's instantly accepted into the popular kids clique. He has mostly no flaws, other than the little drinking problem he has. His life is perfect, really. But since he tries to be friends with everyone, will this new friend of his ruin his perfect life?

Allison Reed has lived in Summer Brook all her life. She use to have a perfect life back when she was young. But everything changed... now, she's older, and the school freak of Summer Brook High. Just because of that horrible event that changed her perfect life, everyone thinks she's crazy and weird. But they don't know the half of it. What actually happened, is her deepest, darkest secret. She's learned to trust no one, because trust means weakness. She has no friends but herself. But she thinks It's better that way. But will the new boy in town make her change the way she thinks? Will she learn that its okay to trust people?

Collin and Allison end up getting really close. Collin craves to find out what her secret is, but she refuses to tell him. She refuses to tell anyone. That makes him wonder if he can trust her... or if He's the one not to be trusted. What is Allison's secret? Will it end up ruining everything even more than their already ruined? Is she to be trusted? Or is he to be trusted?
