Carter POV
Don't you hate it when boys think they're too cool for school? Or wear WAY too much body spray? Or you're in love with them and they're so hot but then you talk to them and they just turn out to be total jerks?
Welcome to my life. I'm Carter Westle. I'm 16 years old and I live in Dallas Texas. I'm one of the people who tries their best to stay as far away from the popular crowd as they can. They get SO annoying and WAY too much drama for an entire life time.
So instead I hang out with my two best friends, Lizzy and Avalon. We've been friends ever since we met each other at the fair in seventh grade.
I love to do photography and movie making. It's my passion.

"Carter Carter Carter Carter!!!!! Guess what!!??" Lizzy asked running up to me after first period.
"Ummm, you met Johnny Depp?" I guessed.
"I wish. Sadly no. But.... I did get my drivers licence!!!! Yay me!!"
"Congratulations!!! I'm so proud of you!! Happy dance!" Then we both started doing our happy dance.
"I'm guessing something good happened cause of the weird dancing and I think , Lizzy, are you having a seizure!?" Avalon asked us.
"No!! I got my drivers license!!"
"Happy dance!!" Avalon yelled.
"We are one crazy bunch." I said laughing after our happy dance.
"So true!!" Lizzy said.
*ring ring*
"I gotta go. Can't be late for biology. It's Mr. Jose and if I'm late again, I'll be suspended." Avalon said.
"Me too. My next period is all the way on the other side of school on the third floor. Bye!" I said hurrying to my locker.
Now my locker is by the most annoying boy in school. Bradley Johnson. He is the biggest jerk and jock in school. All the girls LOVE him cause of his dark brown hair and brown eyes. 'Snap out of it, Carter. He is not hot. He's a jerk!' Bradley is the basketball god at Waterbury High. He's the team captain and point guard. He's dating the head cheerleader, Katie. They're the schools It-Couple. They're the couple everyone thinks will end up together forever.
*&*
"Carter!! There's a basketball game tonight! Wanna go see it?" Avalon asked me after school got out.
"Sure. Let's just drive by my house to drop off my things." I said. We both got into her ford truck. "What about Lizzy?"
"She has to babysit tonight."
"Oh. Ok"
"So have you heard the big rumor that everyone's been talking about?"
"Obviously not everyone cause I haven't heard it." I said chuckling.
"Supposedly Bradley is gonna dump Katie tonight!" Avalon said. The only reason Avalon is excited about this is because she is in love with Bradley. And her and Katie used to be BFF's but then Katie ditched Baylee to be the popular one.
"Seriously!! Is that why you want to go tonight?"
"Maybe. But I hope it's true!!"
"Haha of course you do! You being Avalon. You would like to see Katie run off crying in front of everyone but suddenly run into a light pole." I said.
"You read my mind!" Avalon said in amazement.
"Haha yup!! It's my specialty!" I said giggling.
*&*
"The score was all tied up, 56. It is such an intense game!!" I said to Avalon.
"I know right!? Hey! You should do a documentary about what's it like to be the star basketball player for your film making club!" Avalon said.
"And have to hang around Bradley Johnson everyday? No thanks!"
"C'mon! Every girl would love to be able to do that!"
"Well as you can see, I am not like every other girl around this crazy place! So for my final answer......" For a minute I thought that it would be a great idea! I've been wanting to get into a camp that you have to send in an awesome film to be able to go. This might do the trick!
Avalon suddenly interrupted my train of thoughts. "What are to thinking about? You have that crazy look."
"I was just thinking that maybe it wouldn't be such a ha idea. I mean, it could help me get into that film camp I've been wanting to go to."
"You're welcome! Now go talk to him after the game and see if he wants to do it. Tell him it's a movie about him that everyone will see. It'll make him want to do it even more.
"Ok fine. But if I hurt him for being annoying, it's ALLLLL on you!" I said heading off to the parking lot to where is car was.
Before I left the building the game buzzer went off and the Waterbury Bulldogs won the game! I could hear so much shouting a hollering. All the people were crazy!!! Wowzerz!!
I was looking everywhere for Bradley's car but I couldn't find it. All of a sudden I saw a bright light coming up to me fast. Then the bright lights stopped inches away from me. The lights turned off and I saw a car in front of me. Was I just about ran over? Wow, what a night! Then the person got out of the car and guess who was in it? Bradley Johnson.
"I am so sorry! Are you alright?!" He asked panicked.
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine. It didn't hit me." I answered.
"Carter? Is it you?"
"Ya, it's me. Your old bestie!"
Bradley and I used to be best friends since kindergarten. Then in junior high he became popular and got really annoying so we went our separate ways and that's how I met Lizzy and Avalon.
"You've changed! I'm so sorry once again. I wasn't paying much attention."
"It's fine. Hey I need to ask you something. So you know how I'm in the film club?"
"Yeah...... So??"
"I need to make a new film for a camp I need to go to. And it's about the what's it like to be the star basketball plate for the bulldogs. And yo.re the star. So, yeah. Will you? It's like a movie about you an the whole town will e able to see it." I said.
"Hmmmmm, ok. Under some conditions. No hanging out without the movie. And for sure, do not make me look like a fool. Get it?"
"Got it."
"Good."
"So I'll start tomorrow."
"Alright."
So now I'm making a film about my ex bestie and the star point guard. This has been a very strange night. Oh and can't forget almost getting ran over by a car! What a night to remember.
