we met John and Regina in the waiting room of the hospital. we were all  a nervous wreck, we didn't even know if she was alive or dead, but I was anxious to know, so that way if she is, then we can grieve together as a family.

I walked up to the nurses station and asked the nurse if she had any news on bay.

"name of paitent?" the nurse asked, sounding bored of her job. I ignored the boredom and answered the question, "bay kennish". i said blankly. she typed a few words into the computer and shook her head. "if you just have a seat in the waiting room the doctor will be out shortly to tell you what has happened to her". i was angry. i did not want to wait, i wanted answers.

just then, someone walked into the ER cuts all over his body. he was kind of wobbling, indicating he was under the influence. accompanied by him, right at his tail, was a female police officer.

"mr and mrs kennish? the officer shouted in the waiting room, for some reason looking for us, we stood up and made our way towards the officer.

"that's us", what can we do for you?

the officer gave us a look and then opened her mouth to speak.

"this is the man who hit your daughter, identified as Christopher Miller, my name is officer Stephanie Munroe, I am working the case of your daughter and this accident. I am very sorry this happened".

the man called Christopher ran down the hallway yelling and swearing, something he should not be doing right now, there is security guards and officer Munroe went after him too, it was kind of funny what he was doing, but at the same time it wasn't really. I couldn't help but give off a little chuckle.
