Niall might be shy, but that's only because he's crazy about you!
"She's cute!" I turned around to see, who Harry was talking about. I didn't answer. He shouldn't try taking her from me. I sighed. Who was I kidding? She didn't even know who I was, plus all the girls always fell for Harry and his charming smile.
"Are you okay?" Harry asked, when I still didn't give him an answer. I just shrug my shoulders, I didn't want to sound jealous. I mean, she didn't even know my name, and he did just point out that she was cute, which was true. But I knew better than anyone, that Harry couldn't help but fall for all the girls he categorized as cute.
We walked out on the football field together. "Hey!" Someone yelled. I turned my head only to realize it was her. I was in too much of an shock to answer but Harry wasn't. "Well hallo", he said while giving her his charming smile. She looked at me for a short moment before smiling back at him.
"So you're gonna play?" She asked while nodding towards the ball in Harry's hands. Before he could answer her friend came over. "Are we going to play some ball or what?" "Sure! I'm going to pick..." Y/N pointed at Harry waiting for him to give her his name. "Harry", he said. "Well I'm gonna pick Harry then", Y/N said while grabbing his hand and dragging him after her. Why did this always happen to me?
I ended up on the opposite team with her friend. "With my knowledge and understanding of the football game, I feel like I should be a lot better at football", Harry said when he kicked the ball right past the goal which made Y/N laugh. I sighed still down by the fact that Harry had had it so easy getting her to notice him, when I had spent months and she still didn't even know my name.
I couldn't help but get a bit mad at him. But it wasn't his fault he couldn't help it, it was just the way he was. Getting mad wouldn't do any difference, besides he didn't know I liked her. What was I talking about? I didn't like her. I was crazy about her!
She got the ball from Harry and started running down the field dribbling around everyone who tried to stop her easily. I decided to give it a shot and ran after her. I hit the ball but so did she at the same time and the tackling got us both down on the ground.
"I'm sorry", I said while looking at her. Instead of answering she just started to laugh. Her beautiful smile made me laugh as well. "It's fine", she said and looked me directly in the eyes. "Looks like Harry's looking at you", I stuttered nervous. "I don't care", she said. "So you don't like him?" I asked surprised. She shook her head. "I was actually coming over to talk to you, but you weren't answering so I used him to try and get you to talk and maybe..." She looked down blushing. "Get you a little jealous."
I smiled when she met my eyes again a moment later and felt my heart raise with joy. "I'm sorry", she said sounding a bit embarrassed. "Don't be it worked." I leaned closer to her half expecting her to move, but she didn't. Instead she just kept looking at me, and a moment later I could feel her perfectly soft lips against mine.

"Niall don't be foolish." Harry was looking at me with both eyebrows lifted. "You're acting like a child." I shook my head. "I can't go I just can't", I explained. "Did you hit your head or something? You're crazy about her now just go." I shook my head again.
"That's exactly the point. What if she realizes that she's too good for me?" I asked a bit panicked. It had to happen at some point. It was inevitable. Y/N was too good for me that was a fact. "Stop it Niall", Harry said pulling my phone from me. "If you do that you'll always regret it. You're not gonna chicken out like Zayn did on Johnny Depp!"
"But" "She already admitted liking you, so now you get a grip!" I looked at him surprised by his tone. What was wrong with me? Harry was right, I was being a chicken. "I don't know why I'm acting like this", I said quiet while sitting down on the couch next to him. "You're in love my friend", Harry answered with a grin.
