CALEB
"No way! Hahaha okay you have got to tell me more! I can't remember much of our childhood, I mean how long ago was that again? " Maya shouted to me over the phone. Right now, we were reliving old times and talking about our childhood. Even though I couldn't see her, I could hear her beautiful and calming voice that almost had the power to put me in a trance. A smile broke across my face as I could not control the way I felt when I saw her or heard her voice.
Maya was my classmate when we were in 3rd grade. When I was younger, I was a very quiet young boy who didn't have many friends. When Maya first entered the classroom, I instantly felt warmth and this comfort I never felt with anyone else before. Naturally, we became best of friends and were inseparable since then.
Present
MAYA
"Oh my freaking Gosh! Caleb! You did not just do that!" I screamed as I turned around searching for a tall and slim body who I called my Best Friend. 'That idiot just pulled my hair! I'm going to find him and circumcise him I swear!' I've known Caleb for so long, it was almost impossible for us to take anything seriously . We had lunch and almost all our classes together, which was what basically kept us going as best friends.
Ah ha! As I scanned the cafeteria, I spotted a skeleton like figure sprinting towards the exit. " you better get here right this moment, or I will shave your eyebrows off!" I screamed at him, gaining a few glares and stares from my fellow schoolmates. After running after him for what seemed like forever, he finally stopped. "Maya! I swear I didn't do it!" Caleb said as he crossed his arms and then adjusted his thick glasses. "I know you did it and I will make you pay for it. Do you know how long I spent doing my hair today! I wanted to impress Vic! And now you've made me look like some insane mad cave woman screaming and running after you! By the way, very very long legs you have" I said between heavy breaths, as I whacked the back of his head and dragged him by his arm back to the cafeteria.
Oh my holy piece of dick! What will Vic think of me now? I swear I saw him look. Dammit! Caleb has really dun goofed me this time, I thought as I made my way back to my seat, still earning glares and stares from the most popular table in the cafeteria- the bad boys' seats. There, sitting and looking almost perfect, was Victor Dale. A tall and skinny, hot yet cute looking senior. He was only a year older than us, but yet seemed way ahead and way out of my league. His brown eyes stared deep into mine, as we exchanged eye contact for what seemed like an hour (but only lasted probably 5 seconds). The sides of his lips curved in a smirk before he turned back to join the rest of the boys at his table.
"Maya! Would you sit your asś down please! You look like you could start drooling a waterfall any second now!" I felt a hand tug at my arm, forcing me to glue my butt to the cafeteria's cold hard chair. "Oh my... Kelly! I made eye contact with THE Victor Dale! And He even smirked at me! How can I not be happy and drool over that?" I snapped at my other Best Friend, Kelly. " come on!" She said as she rolled her eyes and started imitating me. Gosh, she's so crazy but I'm so happy She's got my back. If not, I would have continued making a fool out of myself in front of Vic. I sighed and continued digging into my salad.

From this introduction, I just mainly wanted to establish how close Maya and Caleb were, and how much Maya actually liked Vic. In the next chapter, we'll find out what happens between Vic and Maya! :-)
