Chapter 12

Jack had finally woken up when it became nosy in the hall way, which was around 11:40 in the morning. Before he'd wake Aria up, he went to the bathroom to clean himself and grabbed lunch for them. As soon as Jack came back with lunch, he woke Aria up quietly, and Aria went to freshen up before she sat down beside Nina ready to eat. While Aria ate her lunch Jack went back down to eat his lunch, in the cafe because he wanted Aria to spend a little more time with her.

After Aria finished her lunch, she cleaned up and watched a little TV with Nina. Within twenty minutes of the show she heard a knock on the door, she called out quietly and the door opened. A young Italian male, whom she assumed was Mickey, walked into the Nina's room and stood beside her bed. Aria watched Mickey's skin turned pale while he had a surprised and worried look.

"What kind of accident was it? A fall? A car?"

"It was a car accident, she was heading out."

"Oh... Umm can I have a moment with her alone?"

"Umm I don't know... Ok. I'll give you guys a few moments together." Aria said as she closed the TV and walked out of the room. Since Aria was curious of their relationship together, she left the door opened a little and listened in to Mickey's conversion.

"Hey Nina, it's me Mickey.... I've seen the message on MSN and I know you are really mad at me. I didn't mean to hurt you. But I couldn't stop myself, I knew it was wrong to use you like that but I felt lonely and need someone for comfort me. I thought it was best for both of us if I talked to you less. I know it was wrong. Please wake up... Please forgive me." He said as his eyes became watery and while he held her small hand.

"What I did was a mistake, if I could change the past I would have tried to treat you better and for that I'm so sorry... The everything we did in the past was a mistake; I wished we didn't do that.... I mean all the times we spend together having fun, wasn't a mistake because I got to know you, personally, every part of you and I'm grateful for that. Soo please wake up. I really don't want the last time I talked to you to be our fight. Please, please...."

Aria closed the door quietly as she couldn't take any more of what Mickey had said. She moved away from the door and sat on a chair in front of her. "What was he talking about? Where they more than just friends? How come she never told me this? She supposed to be my best friend, my sister but why didn't she tell me." She thought with a disappointed look on her face.

Five minutes past when Mickey came out of the room. Aria looked at Mickey and tried to study him, the expression on his face seemed like worried, scared and guilty at the same time. "Oh I didn't know you were standing here. Oh I'm Mickey, Nina introduced us before but I don't know if you remember. Sorry about the late introduction, I was just worried about Nina," He said as he blinked the tears away.

"Oh it's ok, and I'm Aria.... Um can I ask you a question, what relationships do you and Nina have? Are you guys together?" Aria asked.

"Umm... Well nope we are just friends, why do you ask?"

"Oh. Ok... It's nothing, it's just the way you sound on the phone, like you guys were something more."

"Oh it's nothing, we are just friend. How is Nina? Will she be ok?"

"Um well Nina wasn't that injured by the car but she hit her head hard so the doctor doesn't know when she would wake up." She lied.

"Oh ok. I have to go but can you call me when if something happens."

"Sure but aren't you going to visit her anymore?"

"Um I can't, I don't do well in hospital so I don't like coming here," He lied. "Actually I'm not coming here because I have better things to do then stay here and wait until she wakes up. And Plus now that Lina is free I have don't have anything blocking my way from having her as my girlfriend." He thought with a smile.

They said their goodbyes and she went back to Nina's room and looked at the TV again. While she watched an hour of TV she thought about what she heard. "He lied to me to my face, now I really wonder what their relationship was together because the way he had spoken, it seems like there's something more... Gahh I'm going to go crazy, thinking about them. I need to knoww," she thought.

Jack came back a few minutes after Aria watched TV again. "Hey Aria, I'm going to be leaving for three to four hours," Jack said.

"Why, you just got here."

"Well, I've been thinking about what you said and I'd searched for a place where I could get help and I've found one. I want to start my session soon so when Nina wakes up, she will see the new me, the change me. I know that she might not forgive me for what I had done but I want to try." He said with tears in his eyes.

"Oh... Ok. That's would be the greatest gift to give Nina. That would make her really happy. It would make us very happy. I'm sure in time she will forgive you but it's a great start." She said as her eyes became watery.

"Thanks for that Aria, though it might not be what you really feel right now but I'm hoping that you'll forgive me one day."

"No Jack. I really meant it. Really it's a good first step. I'm happy for you."

"Ok. I'm happy for what you said. And I will make it up to all of you as best as I can."

"There you go. Ok well I'm staying here until River comes back. And Andrew said he will be visiting too."

"Oh by the way what is River to Nina?"

"Oh yeah, River is Nina's new friend, and might be her boyfriend in time... And Jack you're not going to ruin anything. If you do something to River, Nina might not forgive you because they both love each other, and you know how that's like."

"Oh... He was the guy, Nina was having breakfast with. That day is a little fussy to me but now that you brought that up, I remember yelling at her about a guy."

"Yeah that's him, and like I said be nice to him and get to know him. He's a great guy."

"I'll try, I won't do anything stupid. I have to go now, we'll talk later."
