HIM: The mistake, I don't regret

As the sky had a light red hues infused into the night.
And the trees so still,
time appeared timeless
And as the crickets, sang to me
the slight wind, whispered unforgiving truths.

I started to remember how your embrace brought me comfort
How your slightest touch left me breathless.

And so our forbidden acts became homely,
After all home is were the heart is

So we kissed like no one was watching, solely driven on lust
Running around our morals,
Mocking them in our actions.

Yet I never wanted to be that girl nor did I want to be your girl.
So I listened
And all I heard were unforgiving truths.
