Disclaimer: I own nothing of Doctor Who but The Keeper and anything relating to her is my own creation.

Prologue

She looked upon the clock as if it were to attack her. The clock, was nothing special just a small thin gold stopwatch broken from years of use. Its second hand was moving backwards while the numbers around the edge were flickering like a faulty light bulb

Why the girl asked herself, why did it have to come to me.

Why did he leave it to me. Couldn't he have given it to someone else. Of course this young girl already knew there was no one else, she was the last, of course she must take over.

The stop watch was small the size of ones palm only big enough to open. But the clasp was locked, in time and space, locked for no one to open it.

She was young only just at the age of 14 but nobody would be able to tell, what with how much she knew. Her eyes bristling with knowledge full to the brim.

She could see the wings moving of a humingbird, feel worlds revolve beneath her feet, smell fear exuding from her enemies and all while looking for the one man who could help her.

His name is unknown hers was forgotten, he saved time she kept it. He had never heard of her. Oh... but she had heard of him. She pushed him towards worlds near to destruction, tricked time to give him more, helped him remember himself.

Her name is the Keeper.

His is the Doctor.
