Checkmate.... I Love You(CielxOC)

Note: I'm naming the girl Alexa and she's Lizzie's best friend but she grew to love Ciel Phantomhive who also loves her back but the problem is Lizzie.

I blocked out Lizzie's rants about Ciel and I sighed out of despare since Lizzie really loves Ciel and they are engaged to one another so I have zero chance against it.

"Ciel is very adorable, don't you agree Alexa?" Lizzie asked so I hummed in return her eyes sparkled while my chest burnt in envy.

'I can't love him even if it pains me see them together I need to put on a smile so they won't worry.' I thought sadly with a bitter sighed.

"I wish he could be mine." I said under my breath that no one heard me.

We arrived at the manor and Lizzie loudly chanted Ciel's name so I sighed as Sebastian offered his hand I took it and gave a small smile then followed my best friend.

When I came in his office I saw her spinning Ciel around and around so I stopped her. "Lizzie stop spinning Ciel around or he'll be reuniting with his breakfast." I scolded and she stopped spinning him around.

Ciel gave a thankful look so I curtsied in which he came forward and kissed my hand with a small gentle smile. "Lady Alexa are you here for a game of chess?" He asked so I shook my head. "Lord Phantomhive I am here to escort my friend to visit her betrothed." I said and his smile falthered and his usually face for business appeared.

Lizzie ranted to her heart's content while I went to the library to ease my mind and my heart.

I loved and still love Ciel from the moment we both met, his dark azure that clashes with my amber eyes and when we first saw each other's gaze we felt a spark and when we went to Lizzie's ball and danced my hands fit perfectly with his and electricity flowed in me. His gentle yet hard gaze on the time I danced with another boy named Alois Trancy but since that ball I haven't seen him since.

I remembered his cold hard glare at Lizzie when she broke his family's heirloom....those eyes that could drown me in the eternal abyss and his soft porcelein like skin that I wish I could hold but sadly all it would just be a dream.....

As I read a book I didn't notice time flew past quickly and the door opened and revealed Ciel but I was engrossed in the book to notice him until he tapped shoulder so I looked up and gave a small smile.

"Yes?" I asked and he had a small smile. "Elizabeth left for awhile so would mind a game of chess?" He asked so I put a bookmark on the book and nodded.

He gave a hand and I accepted it and we linked our arms.

~CIEL'S POV~

Elizabeth went out for awhile and Sebastian told me the Alexa is in the library and I smiled at her gentle and caring features.

She isn't flashly or girly like Elizabeth she's mature, reasonable, smart and easy going unlike my cousin.

She makes my cold façade crumble with just one of her smiles, her gentle words and her eyes that puts me in a trance.

"If I break the engagement with Elizabeth then she'll cry and I don't even know how to calm her down." I said outloud and I ran my fingers through my navy blue hair.

'You look like the your father, mature, smart and knows to play his cards right, Ciel.' Her words that made my heart beat faster like a drummer beating a drum.

I walked towards the library and saw Alexa sitting by the window and her beautiful features of a mature woman is what I wish Elizabeth has.

I walked torwards her and she didn't notice me approaching so I tapped her shoulder and she gave me a gentle smile in which my heart fluttered.

I told her Elizabeth went away for awhile and I asked if she wants to play a game of chess and she agreed, her hand perfectly fits mine and I wish I could see her beautiful smile everyday since every morning I wake I could only dream of her smiles, laughs and logical reasons.

'When you need someone to open up too just go to me and I'll help ease your pain.' Her words echoed in my mind and her gentle hands that soothe me when we were at the garden one time.

I told her everything even Sebastian's true nature and she gave a small smile.

'It can't be help right? That time they were torturing you and pushing you to your limit and your faith dwindled away since fate can be really unfair..... I won't change my point of Sebastian or you since you have a very valid reason.' She said with a small smile that could shame the sun even if it's just a small smile.

We arrived at the game room and sat on the chairs while I took white he took black and our game began.
