Zero stared in shock as he saw the blade so close to him again, last time he didn't see it coming, just like this time. He has to pay attention, or he is going to get hurt, or Liz will get hurt... he wont let that happen.

Zero's shocked look turned to have no expression at all. Zero has to find a good way to fight this guy, a way to cause damage to the killer, and to keep Liz safe. Liz had just saved him, so he must do anything to secure her safety. Zero lay a hand of Liz's shoulder, not leaving the killer out of his sight, and said a small phrase, unable for anyone to hear.

Liz saw Zero's mouth move a little, then she saw the killers eyes widen in shock... what was it, what did Zero do? Zeros eyes flashed over to hers, with the killer still in his line of vision, then he whispered. "No one can see you, not even I..." Liz's eyes widened as he continued "That murderer cant see you either, but we can hear you, so stay quiet and go hide, now!" Zero's whispered, his voice not soothing, nor harsh, just... protective, and he hid her, he cant even see her, the, how did he meet her gaze so perfectly?

Liz took a light step back once Zero Let go of her shoulder and turned to look at the killer. Liz lightly walked over to behind a tree, then climbed it as silently as she could, so she could see both Zero and the killer and she held her breath.

Liz looked at Zero, his eyes looked so intense, with his crimson eyes. His eyes looked so beautiful. Then a thought shot into her head... had she been seen? she glanced at the killer, who was still looking at Zero in shock, but the light then faded into a deep grin. she looked back at Zero and hoped she had not been noticed. Zero slightly nodded his head, it was almost unnoticeable, and she might have imagined it, but she thinks he is saying that she was quiet enough. well, she sure hopes so.

The killer took a wobbled step forward, and Zero held his breath, how was he going to fight this guy with no weapon? Just then the Killer ran forward and swung his blade at Zero. Zero jumped back and did a backflip, perfectly landing on his feet while dodging the blade. Zero never took his eyes of this guy, he never changer his expression, never showed fear, that was the worst thing he could do, show this guy he got him scared. But... he didn't feel scared? He didn't feel anything but... anything but anger, pure hatred toward this man, hating him for trying to hurt his friend... he tried to hurt Liz... he tried to kill her! Zero felt his lips draw back into a snarl, and his eyes beat into a glare, his hands closed into fists and he squeezed them, he thought he felt blood begin to ooze from the pressure on his hands, but he didn't care, he just wanted this bastard to pay!

The killer ran forward and swung his machete at lightning speeds, but Zero didn't move, he just grabbed the mans arm and shifted to outside of the killer, then rested his free hand onto the mans elbow.

Liz knew what Zero was about to do, and he did it. With a sharp shove he pushed the mans arm inwards, breaking his arm entirely. Liz had tried to cover her hears to not hear the snap of that mans arm, or his choked screams of pain, but she heard it anyway, and she saw it too. Liz saw the machete begin to fall out of the man limp hand, but Zero caught it by the handle and stuck the blade into the man other arm.

Tears began to fill Liz's eyes, but she didn't know why, that man deserved it? Why was she crying? Was she even crying for him? was it cries of relief? Liz saw the man topple over onto his knees, his lifeless arms lay in front of him. Zero held the machete and walked over to the killers side. Liz then saw the man smile, not a psychotic one, but neither a normal one either. Zero lifted the bade and aimed for the back of the man neck. Then Liz though she saw a small tear fill into the murderers eyes as Zero struck him with an incredible force, and Liz covered her mouth as she saw blood spray from the new wound. The man fell forward, a pool of blood slowly surrounding him. HIs eyes showed no sign of tears, had she imagined it? Liz then began to slowly climb down the tree, the only thing in her mind was Zero, he was almost... frightening.

Zero stared at the blade implanted in the mans neck, his glare still beating on the mans corps. He then heard small footsteps, but saw no one. He realized it must be Liz, so he released the spell and she appeared. To Zeros surprise, she had stopped walking toward him, she just stared with her light blue, shining eyes, they were wide, filled with... something? What is that look? What is she feeling? Why wont she come any closer? Then Zero knew what that gaze held, it wasn't much, but he saw a little... fear. His eyes widened as he looked down at his hands, not coated in his blood, but the blood of the man who lay before him. He looked back up to Liz, his eyes wide with shock from what she must have just witnessed. Then she took another step forward, then another, until she was so close he could feel her breath on his face. She looked up at him with her blue eyes, and he saw a small tear... his breath stopped.

Liz then wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her face to his chest. Zero flinched, but did not back away, Liz was on her toes, trying to match his height, but he still had to look down at her. His arms shaky, but he managed to wrap her and he held her close as he felt her begin to sob.

Zero looked down at Liz, her whole body shook as she cried, but he squeezed her lightly and began to rock back and forth, trying to comfort her.

Liz didn't know what she was doing, she had no feeling for him, so why is she in his arms... crying? She felt comfort when he rocked, she was glad he was here.

Both of them shot to look at a shadow, that was... snickering? Then someone emerged from that shadow, someone that Liz had seen before, well she thinks. It...It was Jeff... The killer. Liz felt her heart stop, her breathing silenced too.

"Well, how touching..." Jeff snickered. But Zero broke in "What do you want Jeff."

Liz looked at Zero, who still looked at Jeff "Y-You know him?" Liz asked. "Better than you think." Zero sighed, but kept his gaze on Jeff.

"Well I'm just here to thank you... heh" Jeff put out his arms in a shrug "For killing that bastard, he has been looking for me for a while, and it was getting kinda annoying, I would have killed'm my self, but since you did it, you took a weight off my shoulders I guess, that bastard actually survived me, I was kinda impressed with him... but not really." Jeff snickered then laughed.
