Flashback
"Coee"(this is when she's younger coee is cody and Mae is her middle name) I mumbled out
"what Mae" Cody replied sweetly getting up off the couch walking towards me
"wares momee" I asked wobbling over to Cody
"Mommys out Mae she'll be back later" Cody in a sweet voice that you could sense hurt in.
"okay" I replied like nothing was wrong and wobbled into the kitchen
later that day
"momees home momees home" I screamed in delight
"momee why aunt you ecited to see me mommee i muss oo" I stated happily
"I'm not excited to see you you little brat because you useless I don't even know why I bothered with children you all useless" my mom spat out
"Coee what oosless" I questioned
Coee didnt answer me he and mommee sarted fighting she swapped Coee that made me sad
Flashback over
When I was a helpless five year old my mom didn't want me. She hit her children I had no clue what was going on considering I was five. That's one of the only memories I have of her. I'm more scared than anything she's always drank and been abusive towards me and my brothers we never told dad though. I wonder what it's going to be like now that I was sixteen she hit my brother when he was only ten I can only imagine what she's going to do to me.
It's been five days since they told me I have to move with my mom. Me and Ry have had some of our best memories this past week we definitely made the best of my last week. Back to reality I have to move 1,368 miles away from my family, friends and where I grew up. I hesitantly grab my suitcase and walk out the door it's a ten hour drive to the airport. I get in the car and put in my head phones this is going to be a long ride. Listening to September by daughtry I started to fall asleep as the car drifted south.
I woke up to someone lightly tapping my shoulder "
Mae wake up we're here Mae come on Mae wake up" I could tell it was Cody but before I could open my eyes Cody had picked me up bridal style and started carrying me into the airport. I didn't complain I just went back to sleep. What really woke me up was Cody yelling at the TSA(these are airport security) people because they were telling him he couldn't carry me in. My dad and Scott just stood there laughing at Cody. I got up out of Cody's arms and almost fell but this I was caught by a cute guy when we touched it sent tingles up my body I looked at him and my breath was taken away his eyes were a dark blue shade. I heard a slight growl come from Scott and Cody I thought I had just imagined it but whatever I guess. I was in this guy's arms we were staring at eachother for a minute until someone cleared their throat the guy put me down and steadied me.
"thank you" I said probably blushing like crazy
"Anything for a beautiful girl like yourself" That made me blush more if that was even possible.
After that whole crazy incident me and my family managed to get through security without anything else happening. That's when I realized I never got that guys name or number. Not like I would ever see him again anyway gotta have some hopes don't I. We finally found my gate right when they called my flight. I broke down into tears it's the last time for a while I would be able to see my family.
"Bye" I said tears beginning to fall down my cheek
"I'll miss you little sis stay out of trouble and remember No boys whatsoever" Cody said making me laugh
"If we find out that you get a boyfriend well be right down to interrogate him" Scott said making me punch him shoulder
We all gathered into a hug
"I love you guys" I managed to say through the tears
"One last hug for the old man" My dad asks I stumble over to him making sure not to trip over my suit case
I walked up to all of the boys and gave them a hug and a kiss on the cheek
"Bye guys" I said as I handed the lady my ticket and walked onto the plane
Seat A row 18 I read aloud looking down at my ticket
Yes window reminder to self thank dad for window seat. I walk slowly down the rows and find sear A row 18 as soon as I sit I can't believe my eyes the guy that caught me was sitting right next to me maybe this flight isn't going to be so bad after all.
