3rd pov
Everyone in the palace was hurrying to get everything ready for their beloved princesses 6th birthday part. They had already taken care of the cake and the drinks. When they were sure everything was taken care of the butler of the palace Alcander came to the kitchen with a worried expression.
-Alcanders pov-
I looked everywhere for Evelyn-sama but she was nowhere to be found. Lately she started disappearing and when ı asked her where she went she never answered. Maybe she is in the kitchen to get something sweet. Yeah that must be the case there is no need to worry. I barged in through the doors of the kitchen and called her name. There was no response. One of the cooks came to me and asked what happened. I didnt lost time answering the question. I ran out and continued looking for my master. An hour or so past and ı finally found her. She had a scarf ı had never seen before. When ı asked her where she got it she became nervous and said "I ... ı just happened to find it, its nothing of importance really" she stuttered and didnt look at me in the eye. She is lying ı thought but decided not to ask further.

I think he didnt notice. Phew that was a close call. I cant just tell him that ı sneak out to go to the dungeon everyday to see my friend Sora now, can ı? But the scarf he gave me is perfect , ı love it so much. Actually this belonged to him. I didnt see him take it of since the first day we met. It was 3 months ago. Well when ı said that it was my birthday he took it off and gave it to me. He really is cute and friendly and cool and handsome and charming and okay stop it my inner fangirl. Now we are walking towards my room with Alcander to get me dressed. It was a purple dress with laces and a fluffy skirt that reached my feet. My silver waist lenght hair fell down and ı wore the scarf over the dress no matter what Alcander said. The party started but ı found it boring. The princes of the other empires asked me to dance with them and ı started getting annoyed. When ı was about to choke Lysander the prince of the mages ı heard the door opening and the captain of our troops Joseph came in. The hall fell quiet. I walked over to Joseph to greet him. His family had served the royal family for more than a 100 years. But lately there were some conflicts between my father and him. I dont know the reasons for it though. When it was near midnight the maids brought the cake. It looked delicious. It was my favourite flavor caramel ı could swear my eyes were sparkling. We cut and ate the cake and the dances continued. When the clock striked midnight suddenly the lights went out and ı heard the ear piercing scream of my beloved mother. I stood there frozen there were movements in the dark hall. Everyone was trying to escape. Suddenly a hand grabbed me from my waist and ı screamed. But then ı heard a familiar voice. It was my father. He took me and started running towards the exit. I clung on to him and instantly ı felt something liquid. I didnt see what it was but ı could guess. I cried "Father are you bleeding?". He didnt answer probably bacause he didnt want me to get scared. When we got out ı could see red sverywhere. The palace where ı lived for my whole life was in flames. Father fell down and clenched his abdomen the place that felt wet before. Father ı screamed but he didnt answer. Instead he started drawing a magic circle. In seconds it started glowing and there was a deep voice speaking or should ı say cursing... It said "The one who tries reaching to the skies will eventually fall. The predeccessor you once had chose you the sacrifice little girl. You will be in the world of the dead the moment you start believing in the mortals. Dont forget this advice little girl there is nothing like eternity or loyalty in this uncomplete world of the mortals. From today onwards be scared of who you might become and forget every single moment till now this is your start and eventually will be your future, destruction and agony." My eyes started closing as my skin burned. The only thing ı heard afterwards was a laugh. The reality faded away and when ı opened my eyes the next time it was 1 week later. I was in a church and there stood a man in priest clothes. He asked me what had happened and ı just stood there for a few minutes thinking. Then my expression changed and ı started crying. "I dont know" was the only thing ı was capable of saying.
