Everlore states that when a male wolf meets their mate they will feel a burning pain in their chest and a fire in their veins that will not cease till the male has his female in his arms and if ever the female leaves his side or is mistreated the flames will return till the wrong is corrected and the female is once again content in his arms. It is also stated that if a half of the mated couple dies then the living half will be bestowed with a second chance. In a human wolf relationship the human will begin a experience the birthing of a new spirit wolf and will be granted shifter status.
