Stage Fright (Niall Horan Fanfic)

Chapter 14!!

"Yes! New York City baby!", I shouted as I flopped down on the hotel bed. I'm sharing a room with Sam and Ashley, the boys are just across the hall. I can't believe I'm here!

Sam jogged up to our balcony over the city, "Look at the view!", she awed amazed.

Ashley and I joined her gazing over the many large buildings, people, bridges, and other beautiful things.

"I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at this view everyday!", Ashley said looking down over the rail.

I was enjoying the view, when I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist pull me in close! I jumped and gasped, and realized it was just Niall.

"You scared me, Niall!", I laughed relaxing my shoulders now.

He did his cute laugh like always and said, "Sorry, Love!".

Sam and Ashley left us on the balcony together. Niall rested his head on mine and kept his arms still wrapped around me. I leaned my back on his toned chest as we looked over the city.

"Wow... beautiful!", He said softly.

"I know the city's great!", I replied turning my head to look up at him.

"I wasn't talking about the city, I was talking about you!", He smirked.

"Niall your so cheesy!", I snorted, "But I love that about you!", I said kissing him gently on the lips.

"Awwwwwww", I heard two voices say in the background, and remembered Sam and Ashley, and I blushed and Niall just laughed. We went back into the room, "Okay you two be ready in a few hours for the concert, Lillie....", He paused. Oh no this doesn't sound good! "Your opening up for us!", He waited searching my face for my expression.

My mouth dropped "I-I can't! I-" , I stuttered but was cut off by Ashley, "You can do it Lillie! Sing your original songs that you wrote!", she said happy, but I wasn't happy they don't understand that this is a really big deal!

"Come on babe! I've heard from Sam and Ashley that your songs are brilliant! You have to though Lillie, Uncle Simon really does mean business!", Niall answered as he was starting to head to the door to get ready.

"Okay.", Is all I managed to say.

Later I was backstage getting ready to go out as all the thousands and thousands of fans screamed in the arena! Sam and Ashley were setting up some things somewhere else, and the boys were here with me.

"Two more minutes till show time, Mrs. Porter!", One of the staff said holding up two fingers then he jogged of back to what he was doing. I started to panic!

"Its okay, you've got this!", Liam tried comforting me.

"No, no, no!', I said quickly pacing back and forth behind the curtains.

"Stop freaking out Lillie you are fine!', Harry said stopping me.

" Go out there and sing your heart out babe!", Niall said putting a hand on my back urging me forwards. No, no. Oh my God! All those people!

The rest of the boys cheered me on as I went up the stairs and on the stage! I walked to the mic stand looking at all those people and gulped feeling a lump in my throat. I gave the best smile I could right now and said, " Hey everyone, I'm Lillie porter how is everyone tonight?", and got a huge response as they screamed all the girls jumping up and down,

"I know I'm new to this but I'll try to give it my best! Everyone looks great by the way! Love the tee-shirts!", I smiled pointing to some girls at the front row who freaked out and fangirled.

"Well let's get this started!", I said and the music started up and that's when it hit me. Everything went blurry and the screams faded. I couldn't see right and fear entered me. I looked towards the curtain and made a run for it.

Tears started to burn my eyes, making it that much harder to see!

I heard some staff members shout at me, but I ignored them and kept running til someone yanked me by my arm and made me stop in my tracks. I realized it was Niall! "I can't do it Niall! I can't do this! I've got to go!" , I rambled on and tried to keep walking but his hand was still on my arm and his strength was stronger than mine.

"Lillie they loved you right time you went out! The way you talked to them, it was like you were back at the radio show! Think of Tony... think of your friends....think of Sam and Ashley and how proud you'de make them all! Think of the boys....think of me."  I calmed down and Niall let go of me still looking into my big green eyes with his sparkling blue.

What he said really started to sink into my brain and I said, "I'm sorry, thank you Niall!", I gave him a tight hug and he kissed me on the forehead. I turned back around and went to the stage and up the steps and back to the mic, I got weird looks from everyone but kept going.

"Sorry about that guys I had a problem but its gone now. Okay this song is about believing in yourself and faith, and about living your life to the fullest! Its my original pop song so... hope you like it!", I looked to Andy the guitar guy and Josh the well-known drummer to start this music back up.

My own bravery kind of surprised me! But I am doing this! I started to sing and got a huge reaction from the crowd! I smiled and took the mic off of the stand and started to walk around the stage a bit and then dance a little. This song is a really good up beat song, something they would play in the clubs!

* by the way I'm not making up my own songs ya'lls imagination can do that! Haha! But I will use some famous songs and say their my own! I can't make good songs haha!! Okay back to the story!*

I started to flip my hair around and jump up and down and motioning the crowd to do the same, and they did! This made me so excited! I love this!

Then I started to sing my song "Heart Attack" and I waved to some teenage girls and they freaked out, and then I smiled and hit my big note nailing it, and then I went up and down the stage and had the best time of my life!

By the time I was done the first thing I said was, "Okay girls, now for the boys you've been waiting for are going to be up next! I have had so much fun with all of the New York City girls! I just want you to know that...this was one of my biggest fears...but look at me now! I conquered it! All of you can to, so don't be afraid okay!", I smiled once more,"Alright, I have to go, love you all!", then I blew them a kiss and walked off the stage.

I ran looking for Niall everywhere! I couldn't see him so I went around then searching and then I saw his beautiful face and I smiled, I ran up to him nearly knocking him down and squeezed him tight and gave him a big kiss! I didn't care that people were watching us make out because right now I was just so excited!

I wrapped his arms around his neck and he laughed, and so did I! "That was amazing!", I yelled jumping up and down. Niall laughed and said, "You owned that stage! I told you, you could do it!".

The boys greeted me and congratulated me and Sam and Ashley and I freaked out so loud that we looked like some of the girls from the crowd. Now it was time for the boys turn!

We were going to go out and watch the concert too! As we sneaked into the private area for us at the front row and no one noticed us we waited for the boys to run out on stage.

I cant believe what I just did!
