Diner Love (Mike Fuentes love story)

* Mike's Pov *

That show was awesome, San Diego fucking rocks! Covered in sweat me and the guys ventured to a near by diner, in search of food. Hitting the drums all night makes you hungry. We found a small diner 50 feet from the venue and it's open so we go in. It's about 11pm so the diner was kinda empty,well us 4 are the only people here. Vic sat down in a booth, me next to him. Tony and Jaime across from us. We picked up some menus and looked at the food.

"I'm so sorry my waitresses hasn't showed up, can I take your drink orders" A fat little man asked all pink, he looked stressed out.

"4 cokes please" Jaime ordered for all of us. The man wrote it down and jogged away,poor guy. Vic and Tony started talking about the show.

"Those kids were just really crazy tonight" Vic cheered.

"Yeah man, one of them asked me to sign there dick. Fucking crazy" Tony chuckled.

Just then a girl ran through the diner." Joey, I'm so sorry I'm late. I lost track of time" she begged, Woah she's hot. She had long chocolate brown hair, that went all the way down to her ass. Big huge brown eyes, that were covered in a pair of black glasses . She also had a pair of drumstick sticking out the pocket of her skinny jeans.

"It's okay Charlie, just take care of that table over there" Joey pointed to our table. She looked over and nodded.Dropping her bag, she picked up a tray of cokes and walked carefully over to us.

After sitting them I front of us she pulled out a notebook." Hi Im Charlie, I'll be your waitress tonight. Can I take you orders"

"Cheese burger please" Jaime gave her a cheeky smile.

"Sure thing babe" she wrote it down.

"A veggie burger, thanks" Tony, the save the animals guy.She nodded and wrote it down.

"A cheese toastieeeee" Vic smiled at her.

"Okay dokie" she looked at me.

"Um a ham toastie, thanks" she wrote it all down and took our menus, then she walked into the kitchen.

"God she's hot" Vic punches my shoulder." What?"

"All you think of is girls" he chuckled.

"What she's a drummer, that makes her even hotter" I mess with my beanie.

"How do you know she a drummer, Mikey boy" Jaime asks.

"She has drumsticks in her back pocket" the all shake there head at me. What that girl is smoking hot, I can't help it.

-Charlie's Pov-

Shit, Shit, Shit, I'm late for work again. I can't believe it, I ran out of Hayley's house making my way to the diner as fast as my long legs would take me.

When I arrived at the diner a shoved my drumsticks in my back pocket and entered the shop. Thank god only one table was filled.

"Joey, I'm so sorry. I lost track of time" I begged for forgiveness, I don't need this job really but they need me so I work night shifts.

"It's okay Charlie, just take care of that table over there" he pointed to the only table filled. I dropped my bag under the counter and picked up a try filled with 4 cokes.

I put them in front of the 4 guys and picked my notebook up." Hi Im Charlie, I'll be your waitress tonight. Can I take you orders"

"Cheese burger please" The guy with spiky hair asked and gave me cheeky smile.

"Sure thing babe" I wrote it down.

"A veggie burger, thanks" That guy has sweet stretchers in, I've always wanted to do it never had the guts too. My guess is he's a veggie, cause those burgers suck ass. I nodded.

"A cheese toastieeeee" Ha that guy looks like a girl, don't laugh they'll think your crazy.

"Okay dokie" I looked over to the last guy. He is pretty hot. Long hair, beanie, lig ring, tattoos. My kind of guy. Wait work Charlie focus.

"Um a ham toastie, thanks" I wrote it all down and took there menus. When I walked away. I hear one of the say I was hot. Well thank you.

"Alan, food to make" I passed our cook my notebook and he started to cook.

"Charlie, have you been eating" he asked flipping a burger.

"Yeah Alan. Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor made pancakes this morning. I had some." I don't have an eatting disorder, I just forget to eat. I'm always busy. 

"There why your late" he chuckled.

"Yeah, we were messing about with some new stuff" he shook his head.

"Alan, Charlie. Mary has went into labour. I need to go, give those guys there food to go and for free" Joey ran in then ran out.

"Good luck Joey" we yelled as he ran out.

I prepared the boxes and Alan put the food in." Can I just go" Alan asked.

"Yeah I'll lock up" he hugged me then left threw the back door. I picked up the guys food and walked out.

"Guys I'm so sorry, we need to shut up shop. Here's your food, Joey told me you guys get it for free" they nod and stand up. I pass the one that looks like a girl the food. I grab my bag, turn the lights off and lock up. 

One of the guys were waiting for me when I shut the door.

"Hi"

"Hey, I just wanted to walk you home, it's like midnight and this is a bad area" he smiled.

"Um thanks I guess" I smile and walk over to him.

"I'm Mike by the way" I nod." So your a drummer"

"How did you kn-" he pointed to my back pocket. A pair of my sticks were there." Ah, do you play"

"Yep drums too, I'm actually in a band" he smiled proudly.

"Really, have I heard of you" I wonder.

"My band is Pierce the Veil" yes, I know that band.

"Yeah I like your song.. What is it-- Bulls In The Bronx" he nods. I realise in at my house" Do you wanna come in like for a drink" he thought for a moment.

"What you got"

"Whiskey, Coke, Vodka. The list goes on" I thinks that's all I've got.

"Whiskey, hell yeah" I grabbed his hand and ran into my house.

My cat Luna greeted me at the door." Hey Luna" I stroke her and walk to my kitchen. I picked up a bottle of Jack and sat on the sofa. Mike was sitting next to me playing with Luna.

"Wanna play Video Games" I asked.

"Yeah sure" I pass him a remote and turn my tv on. FIFA was in. I leaned over Mikes legs and started to play.

I beat his ass at Fifa.Its so funny.

"So not fair you cheated" he pouted. He looked so cute. He looked in my eyes and leaned in. I put my arm round is neck and we shared an amazing kiss. It gave me butterflies and set off the fireworks around me. Mike was perfect.
