Back at the hotel, you & JJ are laying on his bed on your sides, drinking bottled water and talking when suddenly he floats the idea of going on holiday after the show is finished, ‘That sounds amazing’ you say ‘But there’s the tour and then you guys will be getting straight to work on your album’ you smile, he smiles back ‘you really have that much faith in us?’ he says ‘Of course’ you say ‘you guys are gonna be so busy, but the idea of a holiday sounds amazing, we should go to New York for a couple of days over Christmas or something’. ‘That sounds perfect’ he says and leans over to give you a quick peck. You snuggle up to him and as always, the 2 of you spend hours talking into the night before falling asleep on top of the blanket.
Weeks later, after the show has finished & Union J have come forth, you’re so proud of them for doing so well and you throw a big New Years party to celebrate with them & invite all their families.
You’re house is packed and everyone is getting pretty tipsy waiting for the midnight countdown. JJ finds you in the kitchen with Jaymi & Olly, sitting on the countertop and laughing hysterically because you’ve had a bit too much to drink. JJ leans up against the counter and wraps his arms round your waist as you rest your arms across his shoulders and kiss him. ‘I know it’s new years, It’s late, and I seem to be very drunk… but I just want to tell you how much I love you. How much you’ve supported me is incredible, I just needed to tell you that’ You smile lovingly back at him and say ‘you’re welcome. I love you too, I never thought I’d be in a relationship like this, 1 where I feel as comfortable as I do with you, It’s such a new feeling to me…’ He returns a smile, ‘I guess we’re just meant to be…’ he says.
Midnight rolls around and as the clock strikes 12, you & JJ look at each other and say ‘Happy New Years’ before a long, sweet kiss that feels like a blissful eternity. The 2 of you hug each other and sigh lovingly knowing that you’re going to be together forever.
