Third Person POV
Elaine awoke in a daze, unaware of where she was or what had happened. She tried to stand up, but her hands were tightly tied with a rope, binding her to a metal hook on the wall. She looked around to see Sam also tied to a hook. Her wrists had red marks on them from the rope digging into her skin.
"Sam!" Elaine yell whispers.
"Huh?" Sam says confused.
"Sam, get up," Elaine says still yell whispering.
"What, what happened?" Sam says with a slight stutter while rubbing his eyes.
"I don't know, our hands are tied and I don't know where Aurora and Drake are," Elaine says. Sam can sense the nervousness in Elaine's voice. They are on opposite sides of a dark stone room. They can barely hear each other, let alone see each other.
"Hey, you still have Aurora's credit card knife, right?" Sam asks Elaine.
"Uh yeah why?" Elaine questions.
"Elaine, it's a knife, use it to cut us free," Sam says explaining.
"Ohhh yeah, okay," Elaine says. Elaine brings her tied hands to her pocket and takes the credit card out. She holds it between her thumb and pointer finger and begins to saw the rope that's tying her hands with it. Once she has successfully cut her right hand free, she uses it to free her left hand. She stands up and shakes her hands before walking over to Sam and cutting his hands free from the rope. He stands up and hugs.
"You're okay, right?" Sam asks breaking away from the hug and looking her in the eyes.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, are you?" Elaine asks.
"Yeah, I'm fine. But, we need to find Drake, Aurora and Chase," Sam says.
"How do we get out of here?" Elaine asks.
"We're just in a room, there's got to be a door somewhere," Sam says, reassuring Elaine.
"Okay, if only we could see," Elaine says.
"Here, let's try something," Sam says. Sam takes Elaine in his right hand and holds her hand tight. He puts his left hand out in front of him. He begins walking forwards until his left hand touches the cold stone wall. He walks along the wall with one hand on the wall and one hand holding Elaine's hand. He continues walking until he feels a wooden door. He stops and places his hand on the doorknob. He turns it with a click. Once they enter the new room, the door slams shut and locks behind them. Elaine whips her head around as sirens begin going off. Elaine and same crouch down and cover their ears with their hands. The sirens continue going off. Guards walk out of a door and take Elaine and Sam by their arms to drag them into a different room.
Aurora POV
I awoke to the sound of shattering glass. I looked around and saw nothing. It was almost too dark to see but finally, my eyes met his.
"Drake?" I whispered into the darkness.
"Aurora? Is that you?" Drake whispered in response.
"Yeah," I responded. I didn't hear his voice for a few minutes but finally I felt his hand take mine.
"Aurora, what's on your wrist?" Drake asks concerned.
