Your pov

It was a normal day. I was walking around in the park texting (b/f/n). I'd been texting her for awhile now and hadn't bumped into anyone or anything, but I guess I had somehow wandered out of the park and into the city sidewalks. Someone had bumped no ran into me that the impact was so hard that it made me fall backwards I sorta laid there for a second or two trying not to feel the pain I was in but I sat up rubbing my head and saw a boy about my age (17 or 18 your choice) his back was facing me and it seemed as if he was screaming at someone. I might've hit my head a bit too hard that I thought I saw him wearing a red ninja GI, he then turned around and faced me he looked like he was actually concerned for me

Kai's pov (moments before)

Zane,Cole,Lloyd,Jay and me were out in the city taking a break from all the training sensei had given us when we decided to have a little race "hey Kai I bet I'm faster than you" Jay said trying to make me admit he was "Jay you can think what you want to but,I'm faster than you" I said back sticking my tongue out at him "why don't we have a little race then, first one to make it to that side of the sidewalk wins" Jay  suggesting. I didn't even need to think about it "your on". Me and Jay got in racing positions "need I remind you that there is no cheating..and as we remember the deal 'to the other side of the sidewalk'" Zane said "yeah yeah we get it" Jay said trying to make Zane hurry up "alright then, ready, on your mark..get set....GO!!" Zane said as we start running I hear the others cheering out names. We were almost there Jay suddenly stops, I thought that he had given up but no he stopped because I was about to run into someone I couldn't stop running and accidentally ran into the person, after they fell I realized it was a girl so I immediately turned around and started screaming at Jay for not telling me I was going to run into someone. When I turned back around I felt really bad for what I had just done. "I'm really sorry, are you ok?" I asked her trying to see if she was alright but what she asked me just made me confused

Third pov

"Who are you?" (y/n) asked, Kai just stood there astonished that she didn't know who he was "I'm Kai the red ninja, the ninja of fire...you don't know who I am?" (y/n) was still sitting on the ground she just nodded no Kai felt like she was either not smart or just joking "you're joking right?" Kai said trying to make sure she wasn't pranking him "umm...no I'm not, I literally just moved here a couple of days ago" (y/n) said trying to sound dead serious, as she said this she got up, she was going to reach for her phone that she thought was in her pocket but she remembered that during the impact she had thrown it off somewhere then there was a phone call being heard (y/n) looked around frantically trying to see where it had come from. She finally saw that it came from the other side of where she had just walked so she ran over and answered the call

(Y/n): Hello??
(B/f/n): Hey (y/n) I was wondering why you didn't answer....are you ok?
(Y/n): I'm fine someone just ran into me while I was texting you
(B/f/n): Do you know who it was?
(Y/n): No but he says his name-
(B/f/n): It was a guy?! He better have said sorry or else I'm gonna go kick his a**! What's his name?
(Y/n): I was gonna say it when you started talking
(B/f/n): Oh, sorry
(Y/n): he said his name is Kai

(Start reading here....again....)
Their conversation kept goin on until Kai walked up to (y/n) "hey umm I didn't get you name...." (Y/n) ended the call and shoved her phone in her pocket "say again?" "I didn't get your name...." Kai said again "Oh,me? My names (y/n), (y/n) (l/n)...." Kai just nodded "well (y/n) I'm sorry for running into you it was my fault"
(y/n) just stood there shocked,someone for the first time ever didn't blame her "what do you mean? It's not your fault at all if anything it's my fault for walking and texting at the same time" Kai and (y/n) just stood there for awhile then she had to leave "well I have to go now nice meting you....uhh...what's your name again?" Kai just mentally facepalms "my names Kai Smith" "Ok then, bye Kai..." and with that the two went their ways
