Chapter 6

3:30 AM

I woke up in a room that wasn't familiar to me the walls are aqua and there was no pictures on the walls. I started to panic. I looked around frantically suddenly Carter busted open the door.

"Are you okay?" Carter said breathing heavily he had a look of protectiveness in his eyes.

Everything came rushing back to me "Yea I'm fine just got a little scared waking up in a random room" I looked up at him his eyes were beautiful. Over all, this six foot three blue eyed guy just took my breath away.

"Do you want me to stay with you" His morning voice was sexy but, how could you say no this guy was the best looking guy I've ever seen.

"Yea would you mind?" I asked in shy voice

"Not one bit" He said pulling back the covers.

"And you don't have to be shy around me Maree you can ask me anything you have questions about" I giggled as he pulled me into his arms. It was so warm and peaceful and with that darkness took over me.

8:00 AM

"Good morning beautiful" I hear slightly in the background "We do have to get up you know I have a pack to run" My eyes fluttered open to meet his blue ones.

"Ya ya I'm getting up hold your horses" I giggled running to the bathroom just before I reached the bathroom I was pulled back onto the bed by two strong arms

"Not so fast shorty" I glared at him for using that nickname again.

"Don't call me that" He looked up at me with the puppy dog eyes I will not give in. Seriously what is wrong with me why does he just make me feel amazing.

"Fine but, we seriously do have to get up though" he said rolling out of bed.

Oh my god holy crap he has a perfect eight pack

"See something you like" He said with a smirk plastered on his face

I feel my cheeks heat up instantly "No I was just wondering why you were shirtless in my bed?" I fake glared at him. Ya he was hot and I was checking him out but, I will ever admit it.

"Well I woke up to make sure you were okay and you asked me to lay with you so I didn't think I had to change" he said back to me

"I didn't ask you offered" I shot back

"Same thing" he mumbled

He finally released me from his arms I ran into the bathroom with Carter on my heels "I'm going to catch you" I hear slightly in the background.

With that I was running as fast as I could him with him still following behind me for some reason this was amazing and exhilarating.

"I'm going to get you and when I do you are going to regret running from me"

It just made me laugh "I'm faster than you" I challenged him

I heard him chuckle I started getting tired and slower finally I stopped to hide behind a tree.

That's when I saw the most beautiful wolf he was all black with bright blue eyes. I was stunned I've never seen anything like him. The wolf walked up to me and licked my face I looked up into his eyes I've seen those eyes before they were Carters. I ran my fingers through his fur and cuddled up next to him yes I was shocked but it felt right. The wolf got up and went behind a tree before I could tell what was happening Carter came out from behind the tree wearing basketball shorts.

"Did I scare you?" he says with a smile

I looked at him and gave him a sideways smile "No actually it felt strangely right" I said honestly

We started walking back "It's the mate bond when you turn it will be stronger and you will be drawn to me"

"What else does this mate bond do?" I ask nervously

"Well it does a lot of things like I said earlier you will become attracted to me, you will be able to feel my emotions and I can feel yours also we can read each other's minds" the last one he said hesitantly

Are you serious he will be able to read my mind I don't think I will get use to that.

"Are you okay" Carter asks with a nervous look in his eyes

"Ya thats just a lot to handle and my birthdays in four days how does it feel to change for the first time?"

Our blue eyes were locked on each other "I'm not going to lie it hurts like hell every single bone in your body breaking but, after the first time it doesn't hurt anymore"

"Will you be there with me" I ask as we walk into the house

We started walking into his office "I will be there every step of the way"

He smiled which made me feel ten times better but seriously every bone in your body breaking.

He opened the door slowly and led me into his office his smell overwhelmed me. He went over and sat in the seat behind the desk and started going through papers I got up and walked over to him.

"So anything else about this werewolf stuff I need to know" I asked walking over to him

"Well there's a lot but I'll give you a short explanation of it. So I am the Alpha when we go through the mating process you will become the Luna. Everybody in the pack will listen to you the second in command the one who takes over for me when I'm gone is called a beta who you met his name is luke and a third in command is called a gamma the fourth in command is a delta. There are 12 packs across the world my pack is one of the biggest and strongest packs in the world. Most of the packs are friends like when we met I was commig back from an alpha meeting with most of the alphas I go once a month. One of the threats to us are rouges, rouges are werewolves that leave their pack become a rogue. A mate is your soul mate you can't live without them you will die without them. You are my mate my love and my life. Since I'm already a wolf I'm drawn to you and it's hard to restrain myself from kissing you but I will respect your wishes but just know I am very drawn to you and I will never hurt you".

With that I was surprised he was restraining himself so he doesn't kiss me. He loves me this was all driving me crazy I don't know what to think.

For some reason I got a lot of courage "Then kiss me already" I blurted out quickly feeling a tint of blush on my cheeks and with that he smashed his lips into mine. It felt amazing there were sparks running through my body when he pulled back his eyes were a dark blue and full of lust.
