I ran corner to corner in my castle searching for my friend. His wife was killed by the empire and all that is left of his family was his baby dauther Melody Rose Mage. I felt bad for what i have to do. This was not going to be easy to say to him. His family is in grave danger. The empire is here searching for all mages small or big. And if they were caught his baby girl would be no more. I dont want to think like this but it is reality my friend was not in a safe place eny more. I ran up the flight of stairs and opened the door. Drake was holding little melody in his arms sing to her as he looked up at me in concern "whats roung grayson whats happening my little girl wount calm down shes scared" he said standing up from the jungle wood rocking chair. "Drakr the empire is here and they want all mages big and small you have to leave you csnt be in this kingdom. I have a jungle wood home in the forest not to far from here if you leave now you can get out with out being detected by the mercenarys." i said tears falling from my eyes "im sarry drake its just not safe here". Drake looked at me before huging me with tears in his blue and purple eyes. "Thank you grayson for warning us about the problem".
Drakes pov
I packet my stuff and picket up melody and ran to the door. Grayson locket it behind him and put the fake wall up. "Its going to be ok melody im here i got you. As long as i may live i will not let a single person hurt you ever and this promise will always be there." as soon as i said that to darts hit my leg and my dauthers arm. The men had pounced on us taking melody away from my arms "nooo dont hurt her shes only a little girl give her a chance to live life dont kill her please" i pleaded for my little girls life "no she is a mage and mages shount live" he said curly with a smirk that starched ear to ear "your a mon...ster" i said to him as everything around me darkened and blacked.

I heared shouting in the distance and ran tords it to see drake on the ground unconscious and melody in a mercenarys arms with a louded crossbow aimed at her throat i wasn't about to let her die. I flew towards the man pickaxe in hand razing it over my head "not to day lukis" i screamed as i cut the man on the arm makeing him drop melody in my arms as i levated drake of the ground and ran out the frount gates and over a brige into the forst jungle comeing to a black cobblestone and jungle wood home in the trees drakes family is safe now.
