You'll always be my Daddy (Jayy Von Monroe is my Dad)

Jayy's POV

"Come on Hayley! Just one more push!" I yelled at my best friend as she was giving birth to our daughter. "I-I can't J-Jayy" Hayley said while trying to calm herself down. "One more time,then it will all be over ok?" I said. She nodded her head slowly. She squeezed my hand tight as she did another BIG push. I looked over at Hayley and kissed her head noticing that her whole face was going red from pushing so much. Not a minute later I heard a baby screaming and crying. I looked over and saw the most beautiful little baby I've ever seen. "It's a girl." the doctor said as she showed her to me and Hayley. I looked at Hayley then my baby girl back and forth. Hayley looked so happy yet tired, I understand why though. The doctor handed our baby over to a nurse so she could clean her up. I looked down at Hayley and smiled at her, she had tears in her eyes. I leaned down and kissed her forehead "It's all over now Hayl" I said with my lips against her forehead. I pulled away from her to get a full view of her face. Her face looked pale and her lips were dry. She looked up at me "Name her and take good care of her Jayy, please" she said sounding out of breath "Of course" I said kind of confused. We had talked about raising are kid together, I don't know why she was telling me to take care of her. I looked at her confused for a second, then suddenly she smiled lightly and slowly closed her eyes. Her heart moniter slowing down every second. Doctors came flying back in yelling and running around. I could barely tell what one nurse was saying to me. I was too focused on my best friend lying there in a hospital bed dying. The nurse shook me slightly telling me to leave. I hesitantly left the room with tears in my eyes. I stood outside the room listening to what was going on inside there. All I heard was yelling and beeping. I was so scared for Hayley. "Are you Mr. Griffis?" a nurse in blue and pink scrubs asked me. I nodded slowly. "Follow me, we have your baby girl" she said with a smile. To be honest it was kind of creepy. She started walking away, I followed closely behind her. We ended up walking to a wall with a window, she stopped in front out it and looked inside it. I stood next to her and looked in the window as well. It was filled with clear cribs with little blue and pink bundles in them.

The nurse pointed to a crib in the middle a little with a pink small bundle in it. "That's your daughter." she said smiling. I looked at the crib intently then smiled widely. " Would you like to hold her?" she asked me. I nodded still staring at my baby girl. She walked into the room and went over to her crib and picked her up. She walked out of the room holding her "Here she is." she said handing her to me. I held her in my arms just staring at her in awe. She had black hair with what little hair there was on her little head, she was a little pale, and she had my natural brown eyes. All in all, she was perfect.

"Mr. Griffis?" A doctor said to me. I looked up at him. He gave me a sad smile "I'm sorry to tell you this but.. your friend Hayley.. she didn't make it." he said. "What?" I said quietly because my baby girl had fallen asleep. "Your baby's birth was too much for her body." he said. And with that he walked off. I just stood there in the middle of the hallway stunned. I looked back down at my sleeping baby and brushed some of her black hair to the side. Then I knew what I was going to name this little bundle of joy. "I love you...Stormy Ecstasy Griffis"
