Have you ever wished you could just run?Run as long as you can & as fast as you can? I have.As I walk into my new home I feel calm & happy for the first time in years I am finally free I have stopped running & I can for once be at peace after so much time. So much has happened but finally it is time to let go & live a normal life.

"Come on Kylie it's time to go",As I look back at my old home I feel nothing, there are no memories I wish to hold on to from this place or this town.My friends are all gone & I lost my family a long time ago.I am finally free,My new life & new adventure can finally begin...

With one word I can let everything go & begin anew "okay"

*******************************
"are you going to help or just sit on your phone all day? "My mother sighs and takes my silence as an answer. I slowly move my eyes towards my mother's & then back down to my phone.

After a couple of hours my mother has finally managed to unpack everything we managed to fit in our car.You see we left the old house & life with nothing & my mother wishes to build everything from the ground up all over again.

Since my father left my mother has become cold & distant, she believes she can only count on herself & she always gets what she wants on her own regardless of the conciquences,I guess I get that from her!

This house is new & empty ready for new memories according to my darling mother but how can anything change if the people are still the same? There is a small tapping on the glass of our new white oak door.

I walk down the stairs to open the door & as I open it I find a tall brown haired lady, she looks well presented & has her pearly whites on full show.

I look her up & down taking her in assessing her.She stands with a tray of cookies,I'm guessing she must be lost...

"yes?",I enquire whilst raising my right newly plucked eyebrow. "I'm Jessica I just came to welcome you to the town."She says whilst widening her smile, at this point I'm almost certain she can't smile much wider.

"Charmed" ,I try to match her smile but my body won't allow it.I pick up one of the cookies & take a bite. They taste terrific but judging by the look of this neighbourhood she has a chef in her house who cooked these. "not scaring off our new neighbours now are we Kylie?" I hear my mother's heels before her voice...

"why of course not mother I'll leave that to you" , I turn my attention to my mother with a smug grin. "now now Kyles behave yourself infront of the new neighbours "I roll my eyes.

As always my mother behaves one way infront of company & another way around family.Over the 17 years I've been stuck with her I've grown accustomed to her two faced behaviour! All she cares about is what people think of her.

"I am sorry for my daughters behaviour...uh sorry I am at a loss what's your name?" my mother matches our new neighbours pearly white smile.

"My name is Jessica & your daughter has been simply delightful actually "Jessica begins to play with her pearl necklace clearly uncomfortable she hands me the cookies.

"well unfortunately we must get on so much to do so little time, would you mind if we finish this conversation at a later date Jessica?"Mother puts the emphasis on Jessica's name.

Jessica politely smiles, "well seeing as you'll be trying to unpack & settle it I doubt you'll have time to cook, you must come over for tea & meet my husband and children? I can show you around town tomorrow if you like? "Jessica suggests. My mother politely accepts the invitation & closes the door on Jessica.
