I sat in the tub, soaked in warm soapy water. As much as I tried to think about what the twins were talking about, my head would throb to the point of explosion.

I tightly closed my eyes and deeply sighed. "Forget it. I'll have to wait until they return." Massaging my temples, I finished my bath and headed out after putting my pajamas on.

Drying my hair with my towel, I stopped in my tracks when the twins came barging into the room drenched in sweat from head to toe. "Leena," Xander breathlessly called out to me then bent over with his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath.

Alex put his hands on his hips and huffed and groaned at the same time. "Shit! Why didn't we take the car?!" He tightly closed his eyes.

After catching their breaths, I used my towel to wipe their sweat off. "Where did you two go?"

Alex sighed and then reached into his pocket and pulled out an accessory. When he dangled it in front of me, I slowly reached up. "Dante...as in, Florence?" I asked confused.

I looked to them both as they nodded. Staring at the snarling wolf, I was even more confused. When I turned it around, I read what it said out loud, "His to claim and love."

Tilting my head, I looked at them. "Why are you showing me this?"

Xander took the necklace, "Because, we love you and hope that this is for the better." With that, he smashed it straight to the ground, breaking it to million of pieces. Blue smoke rose from the broken pieces and dispersed into thin air. "Florence is so going to kill you, Xander. What the fu-"

My world suddenly turned dark and I fell into that dark abyss. As I was free falling, distant memories came rushing back like a movie in my mind. Feelings that I had never wanted to feel, wrapped its arms around me in a welcoming way.

Everything I had forgotten came back and all I could feel was so much pain. So much sadness. All I could do was cry. When I had opened my eyes, I was in the arms of Alex as he lightly rocked us. "It's okay baby cake, I got you."

I looked up to him and when he had stared back, I bursted into historic sobs. Wrapping my arms around him, I buried myself into his neck. Xander then came wrapping his arms around us. "We're so sorry if you feel pain right now. We should have warned you first."

I hiccuped and then turned to Xander and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly and took a deep breath, "We missed you so much baby cake." He pulled back and cupped my face. Wiping away my tears, he then gave me a warm smile and kissed my forehead.

After calming down, we talked about what had happened after we had went to the witch. I remembered how broken he had looked at me which had broke me in return. According to the twins, Dante became his old self and lived life as a bachelor.

He had wanted to go and find his mate but David and the others suggested he stayed. Convinced him that a mate was always close to home most of the time and he agreed and had stayed.

"Then when he had met you, well...you already know," Xander said as he shrugged his shoulders.

I sniffled, "That jerk."

Alex smiled and hugged me again, "Yes he is."

Just then, the front door to the mansion bursted open making all of us jump. His loud growl soon sounded in the hallway as the boys voice was heard. "Florence, stop man. You're not thinking straight right now," David said.

"Get off of me," he snarled out.

I stood up off the bed and took a deep breath, "Remember, this stays between us." I looked to them as they nodded.
