5 months later

"Möchten Sie einen Tee, gnädige Frau?" 

Would you like some tea, madame?

I forced myself not to roll my eyes and smiled. "Wenn Sie Honig haben, dann bitte." 

If you have honey, then please do.

"Ich sehe, Sie lernen, Deutsch zu sprechen jetzt." Butch smirked as he poured my cup with his famous hot herbal tea. 

I see you learned how to speak German now.

I leaned my head back and chuckled. "Was können Sie nach dem Üben für die letzten zwei Wochen, Butch erwarten? Es scheint, wie Sie mich unterschätzt habe." 

What can you expect after practicing for the last two weeks, Butch? It seems like you've underestimated me. 

"Stop speaking alien, please." 

My eyes suddenly went wide from surprise. I haven't heard the voice after I was crushed half to death back at the airport. The moment I turned my head towards the voice's direction, a huge bear suddenly tackled me making me fall on the hard, marbled floor. 

"Il semble que les visiteurs sont ici." Butch chuckled. 

It seems like the visitors are here.

"M-Megan? Q-Que faites-vous ici?" 

M-Megan? W-What are you doing here?

"English please." Megan complained. 

"Exspecta paulisper exspectare. Quid faciunt hic?" I asked Butch, completely ignoring my best friend's existence. 

Wait Wait a minute. What are they doing here?

"Nescio. Pater tantum salutor quod tu venis ad me hodie." He shrugged and then took light sips from his cup.

I don't know. You're dad only said to me that visitors are coming today.

"Wow." I groaned inwardly. I took slow breaths and finally shifted my attention to a pouting Megan. "You're the only one here, right?" 

"And Ac--" 

"Really?!" I intervened, jumping at my feet. "Where?" 

Megan only pointed at the window behind her. It was clear that Ace and Rose were engaged in a serious discussion, with my sister doing the waterworks and crushing hugs. Aah... teenagers. Their life can be the same as soap operas. 

"Wait. So you don't want others to visit you here at Paris?" Megan skeptically asked. 

I inhaled sharply. "Don't get me wrong, Meg. I'm just busy with the whole homeschooled arrangement. I'm not even allowed to speak English in this house."
