I woke up to the sound of doctors rushing into my sister's room and a clear sound of the monitor going flat. Backing away I watched the sight infront of me, figures surrounding the bed.
Covering my face with my hands, tears started to fill my eyes making it harder for me to see what's happening. "Please, don't leave me. Not now, not right now." I whispered to myself.
"Excuse me. You need to wait outside." I heard one of the doctors say. I broke away from my trance and nodded, walking outside the room. As I walked out the room, my mom and dad came rushing towards me. I saw them switch glances from the room to me and automatically knew what was happening, they came and wrapped their arms around me. Tears rolled down my cheeks and I started to sob. My parents led me to a chair where we all sat down, putting my head down on my father's lap, I slowly cried myself to sleep. It was better waiting, not knowing what's going to happen to her and the clock slowly moving, that alone would break me even more.
