A few years went by and everything became the life that I ever dreamed of. Not those rich, living in a mansion with a hundred cars type of dream, but a family. Living with the people I love, with a roof on our heads and laughter to spread. The foundation worked out really well and has been helping patients ever since. My sister was adopted by my family and was now in perfect shape. Everything I could ever wish for was now true and I couldn't ask for anything better. I was outside watching the scene before me, a perfect family. Sketchbook and pencil in hand I drew my new family. Finishing it I went up to my room, put it into a frame and hanged it up next to the drawing of my real family (the drawing for the accident that was found with me when brought into the hospital). Taking one last look, I grabbed a fresh new journal and wrote, To overcome your past, you must have have your family beside you. This is my story, this is my journey.
