I miss how bright you use to shine when I was younger
everything and I mean everything seemed like it was okay
I had no worries
then one day you just grew dark and I don't know why..
You claimed you were happy, but I guess you really wasn't and I , unfortunately couldn't notice
Sometimes I can't pick up on the fact you need help
that's my fault tho
You were caught somewhere between infinity and eternity crying out
You thought you were stuck in the unspoken, forgotten sense of the world when honestly all you need was some love
Love and affection was all you craved those are the things I didn't supply you with
I gave you simple kisses and warm hugs
Peaceful hellos with a side of difficult goodbyes

Simple lessons with a complex view point
you use to be so bright but now your light has grown dull.
