chapter four

~Hayes' Pov~

I woke up with Basil by my side and her hand in my hair and our heads leaning up against each other, she is beautiful.  After a little bit of sitting and just laying with my eyes closed I decided to get up and get some breakfast from downstairs.  When I got back up to the hotel room Shawn, Taylor, and Matt were standing outside if Nash and Cameron's room I heard Basils name and I asked them what they were talking about.

"nothing." they all said at the same time sounding suspicious... that made me angry... knowing that your best friends are talking about your girlfriend mm mm mm that makes me wanna slap a bitch.

"obviously its something, why would you be whispering about my girlfriend if its nothing!?" I said angry.

"we weren't!!"

"well then bitch I guess I'm loosing my mind!!" I said not raising my voice but actually lowering it.

"we said mabel..." Matt said in a quiet voice.

"......." I was silent full of anger and worry, mabel is a girl I dated for 3 years.. she cheated on me with 2 other people and completely ruined me.  She was so nasty and has been trying to get back with me ever since... I haven't told Basil about this yet so I don't want her to pop up out of nowhere.

"she's back." they said.

"........" I stared at them for a couple of seconds with wide eyes and I slowly turned and walked away.  When I got back to the room I went to check on Basil she was awake on her phone she smiled at me when she saw me and I smiled back. I brought the food over to her and laid next to her.

"Hey babe." I said.

"Hey." she said kissing me. "so whats the schedule for today?" she asked after the kiss.

"well we have to be at magcon by 1:00 and it's 10:00. After magcon we all wanted to go out to eat, and then we were going to come back and hang out around the fireplace in the large sweet."

"wait what do you mean?" she asked me confused. Every year around christmas when we are at magcon we always get the largest sweet in the hotel and we all share the basically house. I then told her about what we do around christmas at magcon and she smiled.

"sounds like fun." she said.

"yeah its a lot of fun we usually do secret santa."

"I love secret santa, and when are we getting the sweet?"

"we already have the keys and stuff, why?"

"because I already put a bunch of stuff away." she laughed.

"oh well its right down the hall if you want we can do most of it now and then we can get the rest when we come back."

"but I have to get ready." she said.

"thats why I said that we can finish afterwords you don't need three hours to get ready do you??" I asked her.

"haha no I only need about 30 minuets." she laughed.

"okay then we have 2 hours and 15 minuets." I said.

"why fifteen?"

"because we have to be there by 1:00 and it takes about 10 minuets to get there. We all want to be a little early."

"oh okay sounds cool."

"alright i'll get the key you get some stuff ready while I get the key."

"kk" she said.

I walked back out over to Nash's room and knocked on the door. It took a couple minuets but he finally answered.

"hey sorry I was in the shower cam is getting food."
