Mall Ball and a Great Fall

^I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone.

I crashed my car into the bridge. I watched, I let it burn.^

My phone rings. It's my ringtone for Shay, my best friend.

As I grab my phone it rings again

I hate it when she keeps on texting me and doesn't let me reply.

Shay:Com 2 my house now

Shay: r u ignoring me?!?!

Shay: Liz TEXT ME BACK

Shay: r u sleeping or something

Shay: Elizabeth TEXT ME!!!

Shay: com 2 my house like right now

Liz: k

Shay: k? That's all I get. Ugh!

Liz: ill b there in minute

Shay lives 2 blocks away from me. I walk to my Oak dresser that Shay, her parents, and I made it together.

I get my clothes ready for the day. Blue skinny jeans, a stripped shirt, a nude bra and matching under wear. I change out of my pajamas, and into my new outfit. I check myself in the mirror. i head to the bath room where i do my normal daily routine. I go out of the bathroom and head down the stairs to go to the kitchen and grab a banana. My banana is almost all yellow with slight green on the top. I open the banana and take a bite out if it. Yum! Then grab my house keys, my purse, and my phone. I'm almost out of the door when

I hear glass break and screaming. I run to the source if the noise I see my mom crying and glass shattered all around the dining room. I have no idea why we anecdote have a dining room. It's not like we use it or anything. The phone is next to her. My mom looks terrible. All of her hair is flying around like crazy.

"Oh my god! Mom! Are you okay" I scream and run over to her.

"Yeah I'm good just clumsy old me" she reasons with me.

Shay: it's been a minute where are you?

"Im leaving today so Ill have my friends son pick you up. I am going on a business trip for a while. You can come back to the house later to get your stuff. You start your new school tomorrow"

She has been telling me that she was going to be going on a very important business trip and I would move in with her old friend who loves on the next town over. I don't want to move in with some people that I've never met before. She gets off the ground and dusts off her pants with her hands.

"You'll probably be going to the mall right."

I nod

"okay ill send him there. He is around your age. You know him from when you two were kids."

She continues How am i supposed to remember some dude that i knew when i was like 6. She starts to walk off but quickly turns around and faces me

"oh I almost forgot"

she grabs a pice of paper and writes something on it. When she hands it to me it is a cell phone number.

"This is Ben's cell phone number."
