"I can't believe I actually agreed to come to this party with you." You were annoyed with your friend, John, for convicting you to come to a stupid party.
"It's not even that big, (y/n). There's only going to be like 5 people. You, me, Rose, Jade, and Dave," You had heard a lot about this Dave fellow, John had talked about him before on Pesterchum.
"Fine, but there better be only five people. 'Cause if there's more I'm out."
John reassured you that "Yes (y/n) there will only be five people."
You got to Dave's apartment pretty quickly. it was only 2 miles away from your house, so you walked it. The only thing is you have to cross a major road on San Felipe, but you had done it before so you knew when to run.
This party was a big deal since everyone lived so far away, except for you of course. John had stayed the night at your house since you were the only one that lived in Houston, TX besides Dave. Not to mention John had insisted he stay with you so he could take you to this party.
"(Y/n) are you ready?"
"Nope :P", you made a face at John, which in turn made him laugh. He knocked on the door of Dave's apartment.
A dark haired girl with glasses opened the door for us.
"Hi John!" She was very upbeat with a sweet smile. "Who's this?" You assumed she was talking about you, but you had no idea what to say.
So you just turned to John who replied with "This is (Y/n) she's a friend of mine."
You managed to say "Oh hello"
"Hi, my name is Jade. Nice to meet you (Y/n)"
John and Jade showed me around Dave's place. It was big, for a Houston apartment, which was an average apartment. Jade brought me over to the couch so you could introduce yourself to Rose and Dave.
To introduce yourself, you said "Nice shades bro." Wait that was stupid, did you really just say nice shades bro? Omg that was terrible, he probably thinks I'm weird now. 'Just play it cool (Y/n) just play it cool' you thought to yourself. "I'm (Y/n) by the way."
"Cool man, I'm Dave." He didn't even look at me he just continued to watch the movie.
"I love this movie Harry Potter is the shit."
"I know right, he's like the best fucking wizard ever man."
Snape was telling Harry to do something that no one else was doing and taking some points away from Gryffindor.
"Don't hate on Harry, what did Harry ever do to you. Besides being a complete sass master." Dave laughed, we continued to talk about Harry Potter till everyone left except me and Dave.
"(Y/n) you're pretty cool." We were now sitting on the couch, looking at each other.
"Thanks, you're cool too you know."
"Hey do you want to hangout maybe next week?"
"Yeah I think that be great." You get up about to leave, but before you do you say, "I really like you Dave Strider. See you next week." You winked and just like that you were gone.
