Never Trust A Man

I was walking towards my boyfriend Chad, when I heard my best friend yelling across the hall to me "Amanda, I have great news to tell you!" I thought to myself it's probably about the upcoming prom. Quickly I ran to Chad and kissed him softly on the cheek. "call me when you get home baby," Chad said to me. I nodded my head and walked back to my best friend Kate who had news to tell me. "oh my gosh guess what Amanda, Jordan finally came through and asked me to go to prom with him!" I knew Jordan would come through to Kate, I mean they have been close with each other since we were freshman. Kate always had feelings for him since day one pretty much. It makes me so happy to see the joy in Kate's face. "Kate, I'm so happy to hear that, I know you've liked him for a while. Congrats!" I said to her. Knowing school was over I thought I should probably get home before my sister does because I sadly have to babysit her. "well I gotta run Kate, I'll text you when I get home!" "sounds good bye Amanda!" I hoped in my car hoping to get home quickly. But, with my luck I get stopped at every red light. Finally, I arrived home. My sister will be home I'm about an hour so I better get on my homework.
