Chapter nine.

Alex's p.o.v
I arrived home at around eight thirty two, of course I made a million and one pit stops just to avoid this, which made me stay out even later. As soon as I walked through the front door I checked the first floor just to see if she was down here. I mean, she's home. She's always home. I walked upstairs and into my room only to find her sitting on my bed, along with a beer bottle in her left hand. It was probably her fourth or fifth one for the night. She was staring directly at me, her normally blue eyes, were a dark shade of blue. I thought about turning around and going back to Cody's, but I might as well face her now. I walked further into my room, making the hardwood floor squeak the littlest bit but loud enough to be heard. She turned around, her chestnut colored hair falling off of her shoulder and resting on her back.
" Where have you been?!" of course she would shout, she cant talk like a normal human being. What happened to inside voices?
" I was um, with Trina.." which was kind of the truth, but not all of it.
" Bullshit, were you with that boy again? What's his name? Cody?" Shit, she's onto me already, but she seems a bit less... Feisty? Than usual.
" No, I was only with Trina. I thought you liked her, I can call her if you want." Of course i'm going to lie, I don't want to be hit tonight, she'll throw the first thing she sees directly at my face if she catches me lying. Hopefully she doesn't.
" Oh, would you? I'm somewhat fond of her, but if I find out you were with that boy again you're in for it big. Understood?" I knew if I said I would call Trina she'd be fine. Trina would cover for me, she's done it before.
" Yes, I'm gonna dial her number okay?" Hopefully she'll tell me not to do it, because Trina's out with her mom right now.
" Okay, i'm waiting." Fuck. I dialed Trina's number. Thankfully she picked up and told my mom that we went out to eat for a bit. Of course my shallow mother believed her.
