My whole life crashed to the ground. But in a good way, kind of… Why? Well let me start from the beginning.

One day I was just walking home from school. It was a normal spring day. The birds were chirping, and the bees were humming. Oh gosh... now I sound like a freaking' grandma! Whatever, this grandma is 100% made of awesome sauce!

"ENOUGH WITH THE GRANDMA STUFF AND AWESOME SAUCE! PLEASE!"

"Well excuse you, but at least I am the one actually telling the story!" My brother huffed and rolled his eyes.

"Just get on with the flipping story!” I rolled my eyes and pushed him lightly.

Anyways, back to MY story, it was a pretty normal spring day. Lucas and I were talking about school when my best friend in the whole wide world-her name is Cassidy-texted me and told me that the one and only band Called One Direction was coming to our town and that they were looking for an actress to star in their 3D movie! I was so excited because you see; ever since Cassidy and I were in high school we have both wanted to be actresses! It was like a dream come true! I nearly peed my pants.

"I'm pretty sure you did little sis."

"SHUT UP! YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE SEXIEST CREATURES ALIVE!"

“Can we get back to the story please?”

“Fine.”

I called Cassidy up on the phone and we talked for ages. Literally, we talked about everything and anything. Then our mothers yelled at us to get off the phone and go to a Starbucks and talk. I'm pretty sure they'll kick us out when they see the phone bill. Oh well. That just means I need to get a job which brings me back to this wonderful story that I have been trying to tell you.

So, after our "short" phone call, I logged onto Facebook and saw that there were only a few audition forms left! I hurriedly texted Cassidy and told her to log on and fill one out. She answered back and five minutes later, we were both signed up! We were so happy, I mean wouldn't you? Hold on for just a moment, I need to fangirl.

“EEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M GOING TO MEET ONE DIRECTION!”

Sorry about that, now on with this most fabulous, amazing, awe inspiring tale. My audition was scheduled for the next day at two P.M. Cassidy’s was for the day after mine at nine in the morning. We were kind of upset that they weren't at the same time but luckily we got over it. By that time I had noticed that it was 2:30 A.M. I sighed and crawled onto my bed. I need to be my best for tomorrow. Tomorrow I meet One Direction. With those happy thoughts in my head I fell right asleep.

The next morning I got up and got ready for my date-I mean audition with One Direction. Then I went downstairs and got myself a bowl of cereal. When I was done with that, I logged onto Facebook. Cassidy was on so I messaged her. She messaged me back and pretty soon, it was 1:49. Crap. I was going to be late for the audition! I said bye to Cassidy and grabbed the keys. Hopefully I won’t be late. Hopefully.

When I finally got there, I was five minutes late. I walked into the building and made my way down the aisle.

A very busy lady came up to me and plastered a sticker on my shirt. Then she pushed me toward the stage. Talk about rude! Ugh, I hate people like that. They think they’re all that. After my mental rant, I climbed up the stairs and walked over to the center of the stage and faced the judges. There were eight judges in all. The band members, Simon Cowell, Paul Higgins, and some lady I didn’t recognize. She must be the director of the movie or something. I gulped again and spoke.

“Uh… Hello, my name is Sarah, Sarah Evermoore. I am here to audition for One Direction’s movie but I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to do.” The mean lady from before spoke this time.

“Somebody please give her a script! This is painful to see!”

I was handed a script and told to act out a scene. I decided to play Harry in Scene 5. It was so bad, even Simon was smiling. Well that sucks! Hopefully Cassidy makes it through. I was about to leave the stage when Louis told me to sing. I slowly turned around and stared at him. I was pretty sure none of the other girls who already auditioned had to sing, but, if I had to, I would.

I took a deep breath and started to sing “People Like US” by Kelly Clarkson. After I was done, everyone was speechless. Crap. I blew this too! Ugh, why do I keep messing up! Then they all started clapping. What the heck? I’m pretty sure I sounded bad. However, they asked for an encore. I blushed and this time I sang “Jar of Hearts” by Christina Perri. Again, I got a round of applause from the judges.

A week after my audition, my mom came up to my room and told me that someone was here for me. I slowly walked down the stairs and opened the door. I gasped in surprise. One Direction was at my front door! I asked them why they were here but they jumped on top of me and congratulated me. Then they told me that I had won the competition. I was so surprised that I fainted. In front of them.

“There, that is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to me. That was the story of how my life crashed to the ground in a good way. Now can we get back to playing truth or dare?”
