Being Wolf

Chapter One

"Luna wait!" Luna ignores her fathers call and tries to run faster. Tears roll down from her eyes onto the snow, "I'M DONE!" Luna yells she stops dead in her tracks then throws her head back and howls. Wolfs from her pack hear her howl and run towards her sound. Luna thought of a plan, she stops howling and runs into the forest in circles and zigzags so when they want to track her they'll get confused. Their to stupid to figure it out Luna thinks while running in circles then deeper into the woods.
"Luna!!!" Her father calls "Luna!" Then he realized a known smell in the air Luna!
So...hungry...and...tired... Luna thinks. Need to eat
Suddenly Luna hears a twig be broken. Food!! Luna crouches down so she can blend in with the snow. Luna stops breathing for a second CRACK!
Another twig broken and it was closer CRACK! Luna finally had seen what was breaking the twigs. Her pack. No no no no no! Luna steps backwards but that was a mistake she steps on a twig. Luna cowards and crouches down trying to be unseen. Her whole pack hears the twig and walks over to were Luna was. They look down and Luna wasn't their. "Must've been a squirrel" says the alpha while turning around "let's go back, she's not here" Luna's father sighed and followed the others
That was close! Luna thought "what was close?"
Luna looked up and seen a little pup. "Wait did I say that out loud?" Asked Luna "No, anyways my name is Alphy and I can hear thoughts that's how I heard you."
This is creepy! Luna thought "yeah but you'll get use to it" Said Alphy . "Okaaay so here's your mom Alphy"
"She's dead..." Alphy whispered.
"Who or what killed her?" Luna asked sad.
"It was this big bad wolf he was big and had black fur and had blue eyes!"
Alpha! Luna thinks "Who's Alpha?" Alphy says.
The...the wolf who killed your mother... She thinks.
