Ch1-
"Hey are you new this year?" I heard. I looked behind me to see a boy looking at me, brown eyes, brown hair, looking at me right in my crystal blue eyes. "Yeah." I said shyly. "I'm from Bellarmine academy." "Bellarmine?" A girl asked. "Why in god's name did you choose to come here after it closed? Out of all the schools in our city why did you-"
"Enough." The boy said. "I'm Cole, and you are?" "Skyler." I said. "But people call me Sky." "Because of your eyes?" The girl said in disgust. I ignored her. "You listen here Sky, don't play basketball, or else you're screwed." She told me. "Patty, chill." Cole told her. She looked at him with disgust. Her thick red hair and green eyes stayed looking at me. "Do you play?" Cole asked me. "Basketball? Yeah of course." I told him. Patty laughed, another boy joined in. "None of the girls at Bellarmine are good at basketball." She spat. "Well you haven't seen me."
"I've seen you cheer."
"So?" I spat.
"Stay on the sidelines so you don't have to embarrass yourself, okay?" Patty told me. I rolled my eyes. "Don't let her get to you." Cole told me. "She can be a handful." I nodded. I couldn't help but look at him. He was, dreamy. I touched my brown hair with green tips. It felt fragile, just like how I felt around him. As the bell rang, we all scurried to our seats, and started class.
