I guess you could say that life...isn't always what it seems...

The year is 3015 and humanity has finally gotten its shit together and established Eden: The World's First Civilized Utopia. You know if you have to put the word "civilized" in the title of a Utopia then either whoever thought of it is fucked or there's something more going on than people care to realize. I know that I for one will not sit around and blindly accept this "Utopia" so one day I decided to head out and see who's really running the show.

It was Monday the 25th when I set out, of course I didn't know what I was looking for so I just kept my eyes peeled for anything strange or out of place. Of course when I first set out there wasn't anything wrong that I could find but I kept searching. After about an hour or two I met these two guys, Travers and Brett (we called him Lamppost because he's so tall and skinny, kinda like a lamppost), who were also out seeking the truth so we hit it off - I think I'll spare you the pain of going through our stupid conversation. So after we hit it up the three of us went off to continue looking for oddities but of course nothing so we all headed home for the day.

The next day I head out again and met up with Travers and Lamppost. Lamppost had suggested that we look around in the industrial park - even "Utopias" need industries - so we went there but between you and me I personally wasn't expecting to see much. After about ten or fifteen minutes we managed to sneak into the industrial park and snoop around, since factories are relatively silent so it was pretty quiet except for some occasional distant noises. After about half an hour we were about to leave when *"CRASH"!

"What the hell was that?!" Lamppost screamed.

"I don't know but we'd better follow it" I responded and we proceeded to search for the source of the noise. After three hours of hopeless searching we called it quits and we each went home.

The following day I was excited to get up and meet up with the guys and hopefully track down the source of the noise we had heard on Tuesday. So we met up and headed for the industrial park and snuck in again. We wandered deeper and deeper into the complex and shit started getting strange.

"Does anyone else feel like we're being watched?" asked Travers.

"Nonsense" Lamppost replied kind of sarcastic and witty. We started noticing buildings that just didn't seem to belong in an industrial park, buildings that were out of the way and just overall shaddy. We tried to get into the buildings but the doors were locked and made out of a seemingly unbreakable material.

"How odd" I said, "I wonder what these doors are made out of".

"Doesn't matter" remarked Lamppost, "We'll come back tomorrow, they ought to be unlocked tomorrow" and on that note our day had come to an end.
