First period was hell. Moving in the middle of the semester is always hard. I didn't know any of what my Algebra teacher was teaching because they were one unit ahead of my old school. Second period Language Arts was easier-I had already taken the unit. Next I had Gym. As I aproached the Gymnasium, a feeling of dread crept over me. I'd always hated Gym, due to my lack of running and flexiblity. I opened the door and a rush of cool air greeted me. I walked to the locker rooms and changed into my Gym uniform: a grey shirt and grey shorts. I hated it already.

We played volleyball. I was alright at it: it was one of my better sports. A girl had introduced herself to me as we played. I learned her name was Audrey- she was kind and smart, and was on the volleyball team. We walked to lunch together as she talked about trying to get me a spot on the volleyball team. We sat with her friends, whom she introduced but whos names I forgot almost immediately. They were very welcoming.

"So where are you from, Savannah?" asked a blonde haired girl from across the table. I think her name is Perrie.

"Well," I started, feeling a boost of confidence. "I moved from California, but I was born in Florida."

"Wow.. California! I've always wanted to go there!" said a brown haired guy. "What's it like there?"

I started describing California, with it's beautiful trees and harsh earthquakes, and when I was done I smiled, everything seemed perfect. I wasn't an outcast; people liked me here. They thought I was interesting. The subject quickly changed from California to gossip, and I tuned out, not caring about rumors of people I don't know. I looked around the cafeteria, and noticed a boy staring at me from across the room. He looked at me with hatred and disgust. I didn't know why. I'd never seen him before in my life.

"Who's that?" I whispered to Audrey, motioning to the boy.

"Oh," she said, "That's Harry Styles. Beautiful, isn't he? But don't waste your time. He turns everyone down." She sighed, and I could tell that she'd had her own expierences with Harry's rejection.

He was beautiful. He had brown curly hair that he had to swipe away from his eyes. And his eyes.  They were a beautiful green that you could get lost in forever. I couldn't help but want him, even with Audrey's warning and his hateful stare.

As lunch ended, Audrey and I looked at our schedules to see if we had forth period together. Sadly, we didn't. I had Science. I said goodbye to Audrey and started walking to my class, when I was pulled into a supply closet by unfamiliar hands. The door closed, and only a small ray of light from a high window was visible in the small room. I twisted around.

And I found myself staring into a pair of mysterious green eyes.
