I will always love Yuu

Yuu was laying in his bed, listening as the storm raged on outside. He had tried over and over, but couldn't sleep; he just laid there as he thought about what has been going on the past few days. The war had ended, Mika had come to live with him and his emotions had changed.

In the past few days Yuu had come to realize that he doesn't want to treat Mika like he's family. Yuu discovered that he was in love the vampire. He doesn't want to tell the other in fear of being rejected, but he's found it harder to keep these feelings in.

He decided that he couldn't do it anymore. He had to tell him. He just had to. Wrapping himself in a blanket, Yuu got up and walked out of his room. The hallway was dark, but he knew his way around well enough not to bump into anything. Once he got to his friends room, he started to panic slightly. 'What if he doesn't like me in that way? What if he's disgusted with me afterwards?' After a minute, he swallowed his doubt and slowly knocked on the door.

In under 30 seconds he was pulled into Mika's room and sitting next the blond vampire on said vampire's bed. Mika looked at him with worry painted across his face.

"Is everything OK?" asked Mika It was clear that he wanted to know what Yuu was doing up at 3 AM. "I-I'm fine," responded Yuu,"it's just that I have to tell you something." Mika gave him a puzzled expression, wondering what the raven haired boy would have to tell him. "And that something is...?" Yuu blushed and looked away and then stood up. "I-I just wanted to say...that I may or may not be in love with you...Ok bye!" After he confessed, he quickly walked to the door. Just as he put his hand on the doorknob, he felt something warm wrap around him.

He felt Mika lay his head on Yuu's shoulder. "I love you too." He heard mika say. Yuu felt like he was about to faint. "Mika loves me back? He really loves me back?" After a few seconds he finally got the words out. "Really?" was the only thing that Yuu could say. "Yes, really." responded Mika. Yuu turned around to face Mika. He looked up at the slightly taller male, and saw that he was blushing.The slightly younger boy heard the blond mumble "Say it again" under his breath, thinking that Yuu couldn't hear him. Yuu smiled and said "I love you". He then leaned up and kissed Mika.
