So, Potter Watch now has almost 2,000 reads, and I could not be more thrilled!!! I love all of you so much. Thanks for sticking with the wizards and demigods for so long!!!

As many of you know, a few months ago I started posting the book series Child of Fate, a series I am hoping to fandomize. The first attempt was just a draft, but I have been editing and editing and re-editing it- the first chapter of book one (Greensleeve) will be posted this Friday, and I hope you lot will go and check it out!!!! If you don't want to, that's fine, but could you vote on the chapters and put it on your reading lists so that it can gain some publicity?

The main character is Vivien (Ivy) Tanwen, a girl with mysterious roots who has been raised by her supposedly insane grandmother and whose parents are dead... well, she actually isn't so sure about Mom. Mom ran off to Who-Knows-Where, and Ivy wishes she could, too No one knows if her mother is alive, dead, or... worse.

Ivy is teased for her plain clothes and her messy, blonde, short-cropped hair. She is ignored and shunted to the side by almost everyone in her school.

 Ivy doesn't believe in magic, though she reads constantly. But all that is destined to change on the fatal April Fools' Day... and on that day, her life will almost surely end.
